What does it mean to be a doer of the Word? I understand how to hear the word it is simply listening.

So being a doer would be obeying what it says

Being a doer of the word is simply doing or obeying it. Putting it into action. For example, we hear it said 'do not steal', so we become a doer by 'Not Stealing'. :)

Amen to what the others said. Just an addition. There are many ways you could think of to put the Word into practice. One way is to read the words of Jesus. What did he tell his disciples to do? Then put it into practice the best you know how.
