A friend is looking for the source of a quotation and thought it might perhaps be Biblical in origin. Can you help?

Now sinks the sun, now comes the night

There is one verse somewhat similar to that in the Bible, about the Sun rising

in the morning and the sun setting at night. I forgot the scriptural reference.

What is it? (thinking out loud) I think it's Job. Not sure. Any help anyone?

Off the top of my head: "From the rising of the sun to the going down thereof, the Lord's name is to be praised."

Horatio W. Parker appears to have written a hymn of that title (I tried the phrase on askjeeves.com)
