So. When our evangelistic Christian President George Bush said "I think we do" to Charlie Gibson's question:"Do Christians and Muslims worship the same God?".

It's too bad he didn't have better preparation, but then again, he's not the Theologian in Chief, but the Commander in Chief.

By the way, I'm glad to hear that you are standing up for Christ. The Truth in Love is a mighty weapon!

There are many Christians who have been blinded by their goodness thinking that all religions are inherently good.

Not so, any religion that does not profess the Diety of Jesus The Christ is just another false tool of the devil.

There will come a time where you will have to choose who you side with.

What did that mean?

When we are told to convert to islam or die, I choose death.

uvn477,

I will never be silent about the blasphemy that is the Koran and Islam.

Any "religion" that claims:

Monotheistic (5:73; 112:1-4), denies the Trinity (5:73).

Jesus is not God, (5:17, 75)

Jesus was not Crucified, (4:157).

Jesus did not rise from the dead.

Jesus was not the Son of God ( 9:30)

The Holy Spirit is the angel Gabriel (2:97; 16:102).

(* source CHRISTIAN APOLOGETICS & RESEARCH MINISTRY)

Honestly in my opinion it has no place being mentioned here on a site that is designed to glorify Christ. I could care less what "version" of Islam these people practice. It should be made clear that they are NOT in any way in harmony with Christianity and very much against what He stands for.

Not to be rude brother,

Just defending Christ

His servant,

-CC-

AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

"There Can Be No End to Jihad"-believe that the following from "Christianity Today" fits well with all the various posts in this chain:

Maybe the biggest problem isn't necessarily Islam? Maybe it is Christians worrying about other relgions but doing nothing about it to stop it, either through discourse with people in these religions or through our actions. If Christ is more powerful than Islam, then Islam will never have an absolute hold on this world. With this knowledge, why not drop the hatred, study up on the religion, and begin discourse with those Muslims that are moderate or liberal and are willing to listen to what we have to say?

Yes, we are to bring glory to God, but according to James this is done through our actions, not necessarily through our worship. If our actions are not in reaching out to those few Muslims who will listen, or to anyone, then (according to James) our worship means nothing.
