Don't you think this is more likely to occur after the rapture? Certainly an event of this magnitude would have all of the Islamic nations against Isreal (assuming Isreal was the responsible party) in a unified and all out holucost of the Jewish people and gov't. And if not Isreal, then whom else would have the power and will to attack Syria? If this event is to be pre-rapture then it would likely be that the rapture would be only a blink away (IMO).

I think that Damascus is on the count down block. I can't put a time to it, for GOD only knows that.
