Jesus said to give what you can from your heart. Your husband in Head of the house and he says you can't give so by obeying your husbands wishes, you are obeying God as well. Wives are equal to their husbands.

That sounds like fear. Marriage is an equal partnership.

Yet, I think in your heart you are trying to remain true to God, and I think He will Bless you for that.
Guest stevie06
If it was me, I would just inform my husband that I was going to obey God in this matter and tithe. Your obedience to God comes before your husband, but you must be upfront about it! Your husband will be blessed with your blessing and he may very well be moved toward God by your devotion, eventually. God bless you! Thank you for your honesty. You are one of the few who did not make me feel condemned but rather convicted. God Bless you

Guest stevie06
No where in the New Testament are we commanded to "tithe". But we ARE commanded to "obey" our husbands. Stop lieing to your husband this second. So then is it your contention also that tithing is a choice and the Old Testament bares no meaning.
