Hubby just couldnt resist my persuasion. Well, truthfully, he just couldnt take the pain anymore. After an hour drive, 4 hours at the hospital, 1 hour getting the prescriptions, and an hour drive home, we have a sedated but pain controlled husband. Seems that there were no broken bones on x-ray so doctor gave him some "anti-biotics" for possible infection due to insect bites and a narcotic for pain. She wrapped the foot and told him he HAD to do what his wife tells him. LOL Pain meds are AWESOME! He actually smiled once. Thanks for all the advice, everyone. I sure took a lot to get him to go. It wasnt really the money. We have the cash. He just doesnt think it's right to charge $45 for an office call if you have insurance but then charge someone without insurance $198.
