Well, I just read the article and I'd bet the ranch Bush was sitting at his desk, vetoing a bunch of bills and someone like Radar from Mash comes in and says,

'You need to sign this letter to the metropolitan church, Sir."

"Sure, Radar...just set it over there and I'll get to it..."

"Uh, Sir...we need to get this letter to the church out right away."

"Fine, Radar...I'll get to it."

"Uh, Sir...I believe it's an urgent concern and requires immediate attention."

"Okay, okay....give it.."

He glosses over a letter commending a fine outstanding "metropolitan church" for it's great work in the community and thinks, "No biggy..." and signs away.

Lo and behold...and much to his dismay, he discovers the blunder from H@ll...

he's signed an endorsement of a gay church.

This really oughta be on Candid Camera.

Looks to me like someone in the Bush office made a little "boo boo" by sending this out. I can't believe that G.W. knowingly sent something like this out right after making those statements about marriage. Sounds a lot like miscommunication to me.

You beat me to the punch. I said the same thing. Someone in the PR department blew it. More ammo for the Bush haters, I guess....:D

I watch too much television. I always remember the Colonol on Mash having Radar "tell him" what he needs/wants to say to General So-n-so.

He's soooo funny. I figure this must be happening in the Whitehouse right abuot now.

Bush wouldn't be so lame as to endorse an "ALL GAY" Church... DOH! :x:

It really makes no sense. Personally, I smell a set up. Possibly a frame coming from the gay right activists.

You gotta be kiddin'.............

This "metropolitan" congregation is a "rogue church" pushing for gay marrige in America from Canada (the 2 "founding daddies" of the church are married there).

The entire world that is worried about this "gay marrige" issue knows that.

It's impossible Bush didn't know what that congregation was about cuz this religious group is the biggest supporter of gay marrige (episcopalians-anglicans aside).

Anyway, this "Bush lie" won't have nearly the terrible consequences other lies of his have, but it's always nice to do a lil' "reality check" on the "christian" Bush

Brethren,

I'm not Bush bashing. I voted for the guy.

I will however wait patiently for a correction that I believe isn't coming.

This just throws another log on the fire for me. First His personal desire to divide the Holy Land. He has stated thus; 2/26/03 Quoted right off the White House website;

The United States and other nations are working on a road map for peace. We are setting out the necessary conditions for progress toward the goal of two states, Israel and Palestine, living side by side in peace and security. It is the commitment of our government -- and my personal commitment -- to implement the road map and to reach that goal. Old patterns of conflict in the Middle East can be broken, if all concerned will let go of bitterness, hatred, and violence, and get on with the serious work of economic development, and political reform, and reconciliation. America will seize every opportunity in pursuit of peace. And the end of the present regime in Iraq would create such an opportunity. (Applause.)

So the victory in Iraq was to implement his personal WILL or commitment to divide the Holy Land despite the recorded WILL of G-d written by the Prophets of old.

Then the repeated Ramadan dinners. I know Peaceful intentions?

Now this.

All for covetousness. The very increase or holding onto of power.

I know, I know! Still and all knowing what I know I can't countenance this.

The alternative may be worse a Democrat President would neither care about fighting a war on terrorism.

Also though I don't want to be of 2 minds.

1Ki

The sad thing is the anger this man gets from both the far right and the far left. Both hate him and see him as tryng to destroy the world. Bush has the support of the red part of the country a.k.a. Nascar voters who don't care about this kind of garbage.

At least Clinton had the undying devotion of the far left.
