It depends on what you mean by "accept". :noidea:

Could you expand on this?

We can't only listen to the personal testimony of Christians can we?

Grace to you,

Process,

Are you here to disprove the Faith or for answers?

I desire an answer. :emot-hug:

Peace,

*UMMM! NO to this link!*

Why can't I link to a forum discussing Christianity? What is the problem with that?

Quite the contrary. Our personal testimonies are evidence in the purest most raw form. Failing to see the transformation that undone has just described is evidence. It's tangile to him and continues to be. You can have your own tangible evidence if you stop thinking about religion all together and focus on asking different questions that might lead to your own experience which is very much evidence.

God Bless you bro, undone, for that testimony :emot-hug:

Here is something that I noticed on the BBC religion forums:

*UMMM! NO to this link!*

Should we accept this personal testimony?

As the quote and link were removed I will explain what it was about so I can make the point. The testimony in question, was from someone who used to be a born again Christian and claimed to have a genuine experience of fellowship with God as a Christian. They have left Christianity, and claim to continue having such fellowship with God in a different religious context. The point being made, is that you don't necessarily need to be a Christian to have fellowship with God. And "fellowship with God", if Christians really experience it, doesn't necessarily mean that Christianity is true.

If by "accept" you mean, hold it to be true, then no.

If by "accept" you mean, not restrict the rights of this person to express their point of view, then yes. Their freedom of speech should never be hindered.

You can listen to what you choose to, and perhaps, if you're honestly seeking truth, you should. The truth will always hold up under honest scrutiny. I, however, have found truth, so why would I want to listen to untruth? That wouldn't make much sense, now, would it?

Grace to you,

I am here to discuss issues connected with Christianity. I am skeptical of the religion.

That's great. :emot-hug: Let's spend more time discussing it and less time trying to disprove it. That runs counter to the whole intent of this Ministry and truthfully it seems your only purpose here. :24:

As for the link, it was to a Website discussing all religions on an even footing. Here we discuss the Truth of Gods Word;

Grace to you,

Heathen,

I can't prove anything to you. That is up to God. All I can do is present you with the Truth as I have received it. Note, it hasn't changed since I received it neither now nor in 2,000 years.

The secondary thing is this. We do not apologize for this Truth which is what some here want. Simply because it is offensive. This Ministry is also not an open door for falsehoods to be propagated Apologetics or not.

Some desire to ask only as a way to open the door to anti-Christian apologetics. That is not the purpose of this Ministry nor the Apologetics section of such.

The Lord bless you heathen.

Peace,

Dave

Yes, that is true, but do you really see the BBC religion forums as a particular danger that Christians need to be protected from?

Process,

Are you here to disprove the Faith or for answers?

And what do you mean by "here for answers"? It can be very difficult to get straight answers out of Christians sometimes.
