why obscure an easy point? the answer is yes, he does, and they do. all chastening is for our benefit. it proves things to us that strengthen us. it moves us onto the path God wants us to walk. it can move us away from harmful relationships, evil friends.

mostly, once we realize what is going on, it endears us to our savior, Jesus, the Christ. the one and only son of the living God, sent for our salvation, his sacrifice makes it all possible, his death on the cross, makes us all free, unless we sell ourselves back into bondage.

this is only a small example of Gods' loving us enough to chastize us and help us to mature, as a necessary prepared christian. and it gives us the strength and wisdom to fight off a cunning enemy, whom walks back and forth on the earth seeking whom he may devour.

your brother in Christ!

1 Corinthians 10:13, "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man;

but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able,

but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it."

God allows temptation in our lives, but He also makes a way for us to escape.

You can not have testimony without first having a test.
