Is it just me or are the boards under attack?

It seems as though everyone is angry and argumentative.

We are turning against eachother.

Saying mean and spiteful things.

A house divided against itself cannot stand.

We are here to build eachother up, support eachother, teach eachother, pray for eachother, and reach the lost with the love of Christ.

We need a wake up call and get back to the basics.

We are brothers and sister in Christ.

Heirs to the throne.

Celebrate, be happy, we are FREE.

Everyone take a deep breath.

Awwww, that's better.

I apologize to all I might have offended.

Let's play nice and remember why we are here.

Pray that evil will be banned from this place.

Amen! Powers of darkness: You are powerless here as this is a place that honours Jesus the Christ! Get lost in the name of JESUS!

I learned a trick- if you don't like the arguments and bickering- don't visit highly controversial threads.

Sometimes I'm in the mood for some debate, during which time I will visit controversial or whatever, and I don't find it to be a problem then.

But for the most part, I have been thinking lately that people have been better than normal- I guess it's a matter of perspective.

It's not the debate, I like the debates.

It's the tone.

It's the personal attacks, the judgementalism, the overall anger portrayed.

Not all disagreements are in the controversial threads.

I see the spite in every part of the forum.

I think there is an attack going on to divide us.

Oh sheesh.

If you think that then don't come on the boards so much. Take a vacation from worthy. It can do a world of good.

Your kind of illustrating right there what she is talking about. Her observation is valid to her, she's not the only one who has noticed it, and she's trying to gather people of a like mind to solve the problem. Not visiting the boards so much is not a solution for poor behavior.

what I'm suggesting is that perhaps it is her perception of what is going on around worthy. I am choosing to exercise the "or is it me?" part of her question. In my opinion, it is her. There is nothing rude about this.

The people that I communicate with here on worthy are nothing short of respectful and intelligent. now it hasn't always been this way, I just know where to go and what to read so that I don't encounter attacks and the such. People are always going to act rudely- and if you haven't already figured this out, well, open your door and take a stroll into the real world.
