To repent and be forgiven is one thing, but to be able to mend the broken places that caused the sin in the first place, and believe me they are there with this type of action on his part.... is also very important and he need to focus on healing and not ministering for a season.... if he is genuinely repentant then this will be something that he would desire to have happen, strip away the pride and admit that he, a sinner fell and needs grace and mercy of Jesus, and the love of God's people in order to be restored.
