Guest Biblicist
This song comes to mind. As to how it translates to my life personally, I'm gonna need a night to think on that. I have decided to follow Jesus; I have decided to follow Jesus; I have decided to follow Jesus; No turning back, no turning back. Though I may wonder, I still will follow; Though I may wonder, I still will follow; Though I may wonder, I still will follow; No turning back, no turning back. The world behind me, the cross before me; The world behind me, the cross before me; The world behind me, the cross before me; No turning back, no turning back. Though none go with me, still I will follow; Though none go with me, still I will follow; Though none go with me, still I will follow; No turning back, no turning back. Will you decide now to follow Jesus? Will you decide now to follow Jesus? Will you decide now to follow Jesus? No turning back, no turning back. ANd to also reject any offers by the enemy to give my life any form of meaning, not that it ever means much to work for lucifer but to reject his offers for me means to openly and in front of multiple demonic entities offering to be nice to me or mean to me saying that I've sided for all time with they're most hated enemy who I am the son of. I expect this to happen more and more and in bigger and more embittering ways. I hope I don't ever let him down in the slightest. I care more about him than all the things I could ever be offered anyway.

You have made your disdain of the RCC abundantly clear many times. Yeah, I got that. But , how do YOU live out your life as a disciple of Jesus. What does He expect of you---in concrete terms. Fiosh Posted March 4, 2007 Group: Royal Member Followers: 1 Topic Count: 73 Topics Per Day: 0.01 Content Count: 3,663 Content Per Day: 0.52 Reputation: 5 Days Won: 0 Joined: 03/20/2005 Status: Offline Author Share Posted March 4, 2007 Last year I was on a guided hike in Snowdonia at a particular point I lost confidence in the leader, later on when I perceived some danger ahead I decided not to follow him and turned back. Later in the year I was out on a course for map reading and the use of the compass, the man that led that course had my respect for his obvious ability and I followed him, confidently. I would say then to follow the Lord we need to understand and trust His ability to lead us, His power to perform His will, along with His desire to do so on our behalf, not just His ability as Messiah but that it applies to me, a personal saviour, the Lord is my shepherd. Blessings, H. Great analogy, trutster! Could you expand on this to show how it translates to your "everyday" life. Can you give examples of how you live out your trust in His ability?
