Look on my profile! Duh! And, for the record, despite all the "horror stories" that other women told me about childbirth before I had my own, especially while I was pregnant, I found it to be nowhere near as bad as was claimed. In fact I have had accidents where the pain has been far worse. Another thing I discovered was that there is no justification in women "blaming" weight gain or anything else on childbirth. Your body has the capability of "springing back" into shape just as it was prior to getting pregnant, if you let it. I remember being pregnant for the first time and a girl in our office who had just had a baby said to someone else (about telling me things) "why don't you tell her the truth, you're never physically quite the same again after having a baby". I found out that that is simply not true.

Look on my profile! Duh! blink.gif The point still stands I took you to be male due to something you said on another thread. I found it to be nowhere near as bad as was claimed. yes...some people do have good pregencies and good labours...others...like me have nightmares...for example with my second..all nearly 10lb of him coming out sideways with his nails ripping the inside of me so bad that after they had taken him out with the forceps the dr then shoved his hand up me with no warning to stop the bleeding...that was in no way fun. This was after spending 40 weeks (he was late)sticking myself with a needle thanks to GD and DVT about 6x per day (2 for the dvt meds and 3 for the diabities meds never mind the pricking of my finger to monitor the sugar level in my blood) "why don't you tell her the truth, you're never physically quite the same again after having a baby". I found out that that is simply not true. for you maybe not...but what works for you does not mean it will work for others.

I thought that this was going to be women doing their own c-section, lol!

My neighbor across the street had to push just over an hour and they used every contraption available to get that baby out. She had an easy labor but nightmare of a delivery. My first was a nightmare of a labor that was fortunately short but holy moly it hurt, yet the delivery part was quite a bit easier, which surprised me. The next baby, again the labor was extremely painful, and this time the delivery hurt worse. I have short extra painful labors. Everyone is different, noone's experience will be the same. No matter how my babies come in the world, I cherish them very much! By the way, cant resist a brag-my husband was the first to touch our second child as he delivered him! But really in the long run, it's not what matters the most. Anybody want to see a birth picture? Just kidding!
