There was a little boy who was dying. His parents did everything they could to make his life as comfortable as possible. The parents knew the time was coming to help the little boy deal with his fears. So they sat down and explained who God was. They told their son about Jesus and His death and Resurrection. The Dad decided to teach his son the 23 Psalm. The little boy's memory was very good, for he memorized the Psalm very quickly. The mother decided to share this with her son: Look at your left hand and five fingers. Your fingers represent the following, "The LORD Is My Shepherd!" Your thumb is "The, Your first finger is LORD, Your middle finger IS Your fourth finger My Your fifth finger Shepherd!" The little boy's parents would always hug and hold his hand when the pain was more then he could handle. One night the mother came out of her son's bedroom! She told her husband that their son had passed on. With tears in their eyes they entered the little guy's bedroom. There layed their silent son. He was holding on with his right hand to his left fourth finger, "My!" The little guy died holding on to His LORD's finger knowing, "The Lord Is My Shepherd!"
