Just as Jesus shared his Fathers nature as God. You are your Fathers son by nature, the nature of being a Human being 'a chip off the old block' to quote you, because that is what your father is. Jesus was His Fathers son by nature the nature of being God because that is what His Father was. That's the whole point Jesus was and is more than the son of God, He is God the Son. Read the passage again, they wanted to stone him because they said "Thou being a man makest thyself God" Quite plain. I'm sorry but they were quite clear about what he was claiming. Read John 1:12 "But as many as received Him , to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name". Does that make us all God's? Hardly, because God is God by nature, by nature we are not. And never will be

I could burst out into tongues as I am writing this We share a lot in common about the occult, I dabbled in everything but that's another story. I am a bit older than you (unfortunately) 58. If I can ever help in any way don't hesitate to contact me and may the Lord bless you abundantly at Bible college. And of course they crucified Him for this very thing. WRONG!! John 10:33 "We are not stoning you for any of these," replied the Jews, "but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God."
