I edited my post to take out statements that called this a Summer Camp, that was incorrect, it was a boot camp.

Guest Biblicist
Not trying to find fault with the parents it was clearly the fault of the people in charge, but why would anyone send their daughter to "boot camp"?
Guest Biblicist
Found this little piece of info about Love Demonstrated Ministries ~ Sounds like a place for parents to send their children when they are at their wits end. "Tough Love" gone wrong. Love Demonstrated Ministries provides the Faith-Based Component for the San Antonio Young Offender Program, which includes an intensive life skills training program focused on teamwork, leadership, responsibility, self-discipline, and respect for oneself and their family. The "trainees" also complete daily physical training and community service projects.

The parents should have been more caeful where they have sent their child.

Thank God! But she was apparently punished for falling behind, I am guessing, by being tied up and drug on the ground.
