The Word of God is sharper than a two-edged sword. It brings us strength because the Word of God is empowering. That brings me to my next point and our look at Job. It hit home with me, especially lately. I also have an older truck with lots of miles, and remember the Psalm that says basically, "some trust in chariots" These modern "chariots" of nice cars, etc will always fail when we trust in them for happiness, etc..
