I have noticed some of you incorporate links right into your sentences as one of the words. The word will be underlined and when you click on it, it links you somewhere.

For example:---> This would be the perfect hat for Suzie. <--- Except, the word 'this' would be clickable and take you to a link with a picture of a hat. How do ya'll do that?

Once you copy and paste the url into your post, click on the "insert link" button, paste the link into the box that pops up on your screen. Your link should show up within the host in blue highlight. Don't click anything else and just type whatever word you want the link to be. Let me know if this works for ya. It took me a long time to figure it out too.

Copy the addy your wanting to use, then in the response box, click on the box to the right of the smiley link above, its a green cross, it will pull up another box, clear out the http: thats there and paste the addy your wanting to use into it. Then type the word your wanting to use in the response box, left click (hold it down until you've high lighted the word) and then right click!

Firstly, you need to copy the link that you want to link to into your computer's memory (the clipboard)

To do this, find the page that you want to link to.

(I would suggest opening another 'tab' for this....one tab for Worthyboards...and another tab for the page you want to link to)

Now, find the page you want to link to.

Then, in the 'address' bar at the top of the page (where it says 'http://www.google.com' for example)....click on that address, and it will then become highlighted in blue.

Once it is highlighted, hold down the CTRL button and press C......(this is the Copy command)

Now go back to Worthyboards (or click on the Worthyboards tab that you have open)....and in your answer/reply...

Type in a word that you wish to use as the link (in your example, the word was 'This')

Now, drag your mouse cursor over the word 'This'...so that it becomes highlighted in blue.

Now click on the green '+' icon above the reply box.....it is next to the 'smilies' button...along with the buttons for Bold, Underline, Italic, etc.

A box will appear saying 'Please enter the full URL'

Now simply hold down CTRL and press V .....(this is the Paste/Insert command).

The URL (address) that you previously copied will now be inserted into the box.

Click OK and you're done.

It may take a couple of practice sessions before it becomes 'second nature'....but it is really very simple.

If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me, and I will take you through it, step by step, until you are an expert. :emot-hug:

Seems somebody else beat me to it.

I'm not as quick as I was in my younger days.

Can I get some violin music here, or what? :emot-hug:
