Being a friend a true friend means to give tough love when needed, a shoulder to cry on when needed and to be there when the whole world has left you. I guess am trying to say a ture friend should have respect for you and you back. Jesus told us to love our neighbours as we would love ourselves and I try to do that. A true friend is someone who knows all about you and still wants to be your best friend, they are there for you when no ones else is, they give you advice when no one else wants to, they keep you company when no ones wants to be around you, they love you for you and they don't try to be someone else around you. But I think the bestest friend that any one could ever have is Jesus, he has more love for us than anyone, it was his love for us that made him die on the cross, he cares for us and he protects us. The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name' sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: For thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies; Thou annointest my head with oil; My cup runneth over. John 15:13 Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends. 14 You are my friends if you do what I command. Humanly speaking: My husband is my very best friend in the entire world. I can tell him anything, trust him, he's my soft place. He has shown me Jesus in a very real and tangible way for many years.
