Guest man
Revelation 4 6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind. 7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle. 8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. Rev 4:7 And the first creature was like a lion, and the second creature like a calf, and the third creature had a face as of a man, and the fourth creature was like a flying eagle. The Ameriacan standard version translate it as creatures. Usually beasts signify evil as the 2 beasts in Revelation and 4 beasts in Daniel. Anyway it is for the person who pose the question to clarify what he meant. Since he asked about the 4 beasts in Revelation, one can only assume he meant what I posted. Guest Uriel1031
Using scripture, who do you think the four beasts are? They are Cheribum charged with the protection of the Father's throne, the protection of the saints in the midst and the Father's voices during the prophecy of Revelation. Otherwise, the four horsemen are Bud Abbot, Lou Costello, Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis. Scripture reference is 1st Opinions, chapter six, verse me. The OT equivalent is Leviticus 6 Jackson

Daniel chapter 7 tells us the four beasts are four kingdoms that will rise one after the other starting from Daniel's time: Babylon (605-538 b.c.) - Medo-Persia (538-331 b.c.) - Greece (331-168 b.c.) - Rome (168 b.c. - 476 a.d.) The attributes of the beasts give a description of the strengths and purposes of the empires. DING DING DING DING! We have a winner! Or do you mean the four zoon. They are angelic spiritual beings. It appears that they function as throne-bearers. In ancient times, Eastern Oriental kings were taken from place to place on a portable chariot-like throne. This would have made a lot of sense to the Middle Eastern Christians who would have been familiar with such things. The throne-bearers were also guardians, hence the idea of being full of eyes round about. Ezekiel gives a look at them as well.
