First of all you come to an understanding about Christ through faith not knowledge. If Christ would reveal Himself as God in a manner - though people here did an excellent job of pointing you in the right direction - that you would like, what purpose is faith? Also Christ preserved free will; if you want to reject him as God, it is your lack of faith and pride in your knowledge, which allow this to happen. Secondly who is the only One who can forgive sins? Did Moses or any prophet ever dare say, "your sins are forgiven?"
