  1. WOW...how did I get to the end of this one? >I must have been watching tv< I love Dirty Jobs when it first came out, because it showed lots of stuff you would never dream of, and it caused me to be thankful for the folks that makes my life better... I'm still hooked on Dancing With The Stars that I go back and watch..Kelly Osbourn still makes me cry during her first performance...and lets no forget Miss Nicie (big girls can move) But mostly I love anything that deals with solving murders (1st 48 Hrs, Cold Case Files) or solving what killed someone (Dr. G), to what made men and women kill...and lets not talk about the action of Code Blue I find great recipes on the Food Network... The blessing of all channels The Word Network and Inspirational Channel... I guess by now, you know I like to watch TV

  2. Michelle's cause is obesity in children (The "Let's Move" initiative, for which the President is asking Congress to cut food stamps). My impression of the two is that the few times they have paid attention to the troops it's mainly been for the photo-op. Soldiers that I have personally talked to, and from whom I have read accounts, have said that Bush is far more respected and loved than Obama. They don't trust a commanding officer whose heart and will are behind them, and who doesn't believe in the cause for which they are fighting. Every time Obama visits a foreign dignitary who is adverse to America he is viewed as being apologetic. Soldiers see that, and they don't trust him. Ah...OOPPSS. SORRY. I accidentally edited your post instead of posting a new one of my own. I don;t know how that happened. I'm still sort of getting used to posting again with this new format. Please forgive me. It was not intentional at all. Don't worry about it. This new format threw just about all of us at first. Mrs. Obama IS involved with fighting obesity in children (and that's a good cause) but she also meets regularly with military families. It's just not reported as much as the work with kids, I guess.
