Why do Christians waste their time on the devil's trash pile (American Idol) when they have the King James Version Bible to read and love and also beautiful Southern Gospel and great preaching to build up their spirit? (I ask this in love) Please read the scriptures below and see if God is pleased with us Christians not only acting like this sinful world but also partaking of the sins of this world with them: (1Peter4:17,18) "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1John2:15)"LOVE NOT the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him." Sinners are watching our lives every day. Which do you think would cause them to want what we have as Christians... #1 - American Idol #2 - Reading our Bible, praying, sharing Jesus Christ through our actions as a True, Holy Living, Child of God Which do you really believe, down in your heart pleases the Lord God? Yes, I believe we Christians need to seperate ourselves from acting and doing like this sinful world and start acting like True Christians. Why did God say "Wherefore COME OUT from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. (2Cor.6:17) May we Christian have a revival in our own heart and come back to doing the first works.

My friend, the main thrust of the Gospel is getting people saved so they won't go to hell. (1Tim.1:15) "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to SAVE SINNERS; of whom I am chief." Paul is saying he was chief of sinners who Jesus saved. The whole world had Jesus die for them. Only a few will accept though. Yes, we are to grow close to the Lord ourself, this is important. Also, Jesus lived, breathed, died, and was resurrected that the whole world could have His Salvation.

Maybe too much religion "but" not enough Jesus Christ and Him crucified. And yes, how the family needs a close relationship with each other.

(James4:7) "Submit yourselves therefore to God. RESIST THE DEVIL, and he will flee from you." Many people laugh when mentioning Generational Curses, but it's because they are ignorant of satan and his devices. Look at every family. The only ones delivered are the true Christians who are reading their Bible and praying often, daily. You can watch families that do not put God first, and you'll see one problem after another rising up. Many generational curses are brought on by our lifestyle. For example...(laugh at my old fashion ideas if you want) 1 - If Moms would stay home and do the job God told her to do while Dad, as the head of the Home, works and provides for his family, taking control as a "Godly Christian man." 2 - If Moms would not try to rule their husband, but obey Gods Word by letting the husband lead. 3 - If Dads would live Holy for God, and get the Bible out, having family devotions every day with family. 4 - Dad/Mom should rule their children. Allowing only good wholesome music (Gospel), no TV watching that Jesus Himself wouldnlt watch. No music Jesus wouldn't listen to. 5 - All family members wearing "full dress" except in the privacy of their home where no one else can see. 6 - Home schooling your children. Schools have become the devils workshop as a whole. 7 - Coming back to the KJV Bible of 1611. The other translations are full of error as well as being owned and copyrighted by man. The KJV Bible is perfect and without error. 8 - Requiring your children to learn Holy Scripture each day and throw away the TV Guide and magazines they know by heart. 9 - Finding a good Godly pastor who preaches nothing but the truth, and back him and the church up with all your heart. Work hard to hold his arms up with prayer and see that he and his family have their needs met. Pray for them daily. Go to all services, every time the doors are open. This is only a few things that will break satans yoke from us. Pray, yes, but prayer alone will not do the job. Jesus told us these things come only by prayer and fasting, with complete obedience. Yes, I have people write and say I must be dreaming, when I write things like the above. Guess what? It would start a transformation in our home which would spread to our churches which would clean up our schools and community if we'd put them in practice. Want to break satans generational curses? Do the above in complete love and surrender to God and you'll start seeing chains and yokes fall off and drop out of your sight.

The Bible from Gen. to Rev. proves how smart God really is. Yes, it is very possible there was another creation before Gen. 1 because I have also studied this to find out the truth, so I could preach the truth to anyone listening to my sermons. (I've had a number of people ask me about this) Lucifer, and what the Bible records about him, somewhat prove this. However, we could go back and forth for hours and still not be able to prove either way. I have come to the conclusion in my old age that the most important thing in the world is knowing Jesus Christ and Him crucified. So that we can get as many people saved as possible before it's too late. We need to study the Bible to show ourselves approved before God, so we can win as many as possible to the Lord Jesus Christ. Only by studying the Word, can we show ourself approved, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2Tim.2:15) "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, RIGHTLY DIVIDING the word of truth." Our main purpose in studying and learning the Bible is to get people saved from going to hell.

There indeed are Jews who are Christians and yes, many Jews received Jesus and got saved in the early days of the New Testament. There are Christians in Israel and all other the world that are Jews. My meaning is, that the little state of Israel, as a whole, is not Christians, and are still looking for their Messiah. They accept the teaching of the Old Testament and believe the Messiah will come. That was my own humble opinion. Sorry you misunderstood my real meaning. Maybe this will better explain it. I love the Jews, have preached side by side with Jewish Christians and have found the Jewish people very kind and considerate, as well as some of the best cooks in the world. I love worshipping with them. They are among the smartest people in the world, especially those who are now redeemed by the Blood of the Lamb, calling Jesus Lord.

The main reason is that the Jews do not accept Christianity yet. They do not believe the Messiah, who will redeem them and give them back complete power and control has come yet. So, this is one of the reasons Christianity is better known as a Western religion. You see, they think when the Messiah comes, he'll take over complete rule of the earth and give them the reigns to rule the way they want. They will be in control. We Christians know Jesus Christ is our Messiah, but Israel, and all other Jews everywhere who are not saved, still watch for Messiah coming back.

(Lev.1:2) Actually, the burnt offering typified Jesus who offered Himself without spot to God, to atone for sin, and be man's substitute to die in his place. In this offering the whole animal was consumed by fire, except the skin. Also, such offerings were called sweet savor because God was pleased with them. They simply typified Jesus Christ in His absolute perfection and obedience to God. The non-sweet savor offering typified Him as sin-bearer. Hope that answered your question to your satisfaction.

Chief, my friend, where in the world you got your info, I don't know. However, you are very wrong and badly mistaken in your post just before this. I do use the original 1611 King James Version, not the third one you mentioned. Your info is full of mistakes and errors and you need to go to your source that you got this information from and prove to yourself how wrong it is. However, I know what I'm talking about and where I'm coming from. I did not say the men who translated for King James was perfect. I did say that God led them to write exactly "what He wanted." They were used of God to do the 1611, whether they realized this or not. God can use a donkey to talk or He can use us feeble humans in any way He wants. Spend some time in the Hebrew and Greek and you'll find the 1611 KJV Bible perfect and without error. I appreciate the opportunity to have read comments and posted on this thread. Yes, I saw and read the post. However, I have spent many years studying Hebrew and Greek concerning the King James Version Bible. I believe Gods Word and from my many hours of study it is proven to me that the scripture in 2Tim.1:7 means exactly what it says. The KJV Bible is perfect and without error. No other man copyrighted and owned bible can say that. God says what He means and means what He says. I believe God and His Word above all man made ideas. And yes, the men who wrote the Bible were inspired by God. Also, the men who King James had do the 1611 Authorized Bible Version were led divinely by Gods leadership. God has already given the land to Israel. The Lord will see to it that His word is kept. It is amazing how Russia and other countries have high hopes for getting their hands on this little state. Her wealth is the reason, of course. But God will supernaturally according to His Holy Word make sure Israel has what is promised her.

(Although many are asking if you and your boyfriend are saved, disregarding sexual fornication outside of marriage) May I say that yes, God loves you and gave Jesus His Son to die for you and was Resurrected the 3rd day so that you can have ever lasting life if you choose Jesus. We all have sinned and it takes Jesus to forgive us. Your first action, right this minute, is to ask God to save you. I do not need to ask you if you are a Christian, because I know you're not saved. Christians do not live in fornication before marriage. Ask God to forgive you,serve Him and start reading your Bible and praying every day. Jesus told the woman who was living in adultry, "And Jesus said unto her, NEITHER DO I CONDEMN THEE: go, and sin no more." (John 8:11) " Second - Go to your boyfriend, tell him you have received Jesus into your heart and life, and by the grace of God, you have determined to follow Him (Jesus). Ask your boyfriend if he'll do what's right, and marry you...Today, either by a preacher or justice of the peace. If he says yes, then instantly do what you must do, to legally become married, in Gods command as well as the laws of the land. Tell him, and mean it, that you're now a Christian and will have no more contact with him, sexually, or otherwise, until he marries you. If he refuses, call your Dad and Mom, brother or sister, a friend, start calling Churches and pastors. Some one will help you to find a place to take your children and yourself. Get away from the situation with him period, until he is married to you. Third - "But seek ye first the KINGDOM OF GOD, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you." (Matthew 6:33) I have learned that if you really want to help someone, tell them the truth. My Friend, as a Child of God, do two things to confirm your questions about him. Number one - Keep reading your Bible, praying, and thanking God every day for supernaturally leading you where He wants you to go. What He wants you to do... and the local church and pastor where you go, probably needs your support in prayer and money. Are you backing them up first as the Bible teaches us. Second - To satisfy your curiousity, keep listening to this man preach and what he says. Gods man, or woman, if they are truly His, will preach the Word, without compromise. A false preacher always lets the cat out of the bag by his words. He will soon slip up and say things that are not of God, if you listen closely. Also, a falsie (my word) will do things that are completely contrary to Gods actions and what His Word says. As a true Christian, you will know by the Spirit that liveth in you, who is true and false. I admit I've never heard of the man...but considering that I have preached as many as 4 sermons in one day, I personally have had little time to check tv preachers out. There are some really wonderful, anointed men and women of God all across our nation though. God Bless you for wanting Gods guidance and directions. A Christian that knows their Bible and prays, following God in sincerety, scares satan spitless. satan trembles when he sees, a child of God upon their knees.

My Friend, may I please tell you a story that happened long ago? Goodyear came out with the "blimp." (This was many moons back.) Men were holding it down with ropes in a strong wind, trying to keep it from going up in orbit like a baloon let go. Suddenly, it broke loose and several men, kept holding on until it was quite a distance up, then they lost their hold, and fell to their death. However, one man who kept holding on, realizing if he turned loose, would fall to his death far below. So, he took the strong rope and managed to wrap it around himself so that he could actually sit and take the weight off his arms. Several hours later, he was rescued. When they got him safe down to the ground, they ask him how he could hold on so long without falling to his death? Here is what he answered... "I knew I didn't have the strength or ability to hang on, so I just wrapped the rope around me and enjoyed the beautiful scenery." The Bible says in (Proverbs 3:5,6) "TRUST IN THE LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Like Dave said above, none of us can live a Christian life by ourself. That's why God gave His Son Jesus to die and rise again. For our Salvation. "If the Son therefore shall make you FREE, ye shall be FREE indeed." Thank God the house services are going on all over this great country. Actually, the house services were the meeting places in the New Testament. I've enjoyed being in many as well as preaching in them. We have seen God do wonderful things in them, as the building would be packed with hungry people starving for the truth.
