Dan Brown himself has made the claim in more then one interview that his books are based on fact. He said he would not have wasted time writing them if they were just fiction. Further more the "DaVinci Code" is outright blashphemy. It's hard to see how anyone who believes in Jesus Christ and loves God, could enjoy any form of entertainment that denies and blasphemes who he his. Well said! Any Believer that tabbles in the reading of such books I would sincerely recommend that they avoid. Satan is a mighty foe and not to be underestimated. His finger can be seen clearly in the world of "fiction reading" and in "Movie making". God's Word in Phillipines 4:8 clearly tells us what the Christian is "to think upon." These books do not in any way hold up.

Lorni, I can identify with those feelings that you describe. It has taught me to love and depend on my Saviour more and appreciate those dear to me. Life without God is life without hope but in Christ we can have abundant life and a blessed hope. My husband is my rock and over the last 5 years when my life has been turned up side down and will never be the same again he has been at my side - what can I do for him? My answer is a simple one - pray for him daily and be there when he needs me. I'm glad you have been blessed with a husband that is there for you... Take care & God bless K.

Yes, Spring time is my favourite season too and as I am from the "Emerald Isle" you can guess rain is frequent. Trees and flowers are starting to bud now and it is wonderful to appreciate God's creation. It sounds lovely to reach those hot temperatures but perhaps not so easy to work in. We are hoping for perhaps a few hot days - mind you if we reach 20C it is a heatwave! God bless... K.

What a lovely reading Fez. Look at 1 Corinthians 2:9 and would also recommend the book by Randy Alcorn "Heaven". There are many scriptures that tell us details of what awaits the Believer but sometimes, I know for me, I haven't stopped and thought about them properly. I guess if God revealed more to us it would make this journey down here all the harder. God bless... K.
