  1. Is that what they are? You'll either come to know Jesus as the Great Redeemer, or the Grim Reaper. 'Unbeliever' isn't cool. "Cool" is always a matter of personal taste.
  2. Thanks. That answers my question. Enjoy the Outer Court. It's where all the cool kids kick it.
  3. Notice that atheists almost always look angry. But...I suppose I'd be angry too if I had nothing. That's a false, and incredibly ignorant statement. I've been told I usually always look happy, and who are you to imply *I* have nothing. Maybe they look angry because of the way YOU approach them? Saying we almost always look angry...During school when we were learning about WWII in my history class, we watched this film (I can't for the life of me remember what it was since this was a few years back), but propaganda against the Japanese in America was basically along the same lines of what you just said. It was on how to tell a Chinese person from a Japanese person. According to the film, Americans were told that the Chinese were more friendly and smiled more often, where the Japanese would have an angry expression and cruel attitudes. So, you're saying that Christians usually always look happy, but atheists usually look angry? No matter what you may think of atheists, it doesn't matter what you are. Christian, Hindu, Pagan, Atheist, whatever have you, everyone has good days and bad days. There are Christians who are angry most of the time, Just as there are atheists who are probably angry all the time. To say one group is happier than the other is ridiculous.
  4. Wiki is really not a reliable source for anything. Any user can add or subtract information. You just contradicted yourself. How did I contradict myself? Exhau said he would copy and paste something from wiki. I simply stated that since the information on wiki can be altered by any reader, it is not reliable. How is my response to Exhau self-contradictory? Chieokure probably thought both quotes were from you since there was no name next to the previous quote.
  5. Well there is no homosexualilty in the animal kingdom. I realize there is a lot of junk science out there promoting the idea that animals can be gay, but it just ain't so. Do you remember where you got that article from? I disagree with your first sentence, but I'm not going to argue about it. This was probably over 3 years ago, so no, I don't remember where I read it. If you did a search you might find it, but I don't know. *shrug*
  6. That makes no sense to me. the more the population the more chance there is for procreation. ....Unless boredom sets in. I think the hypothesis for the study would be homosexuality could be a genetic adaption to overpopulation. That's what I was trying to say. I'm not very good at explaining things.
  7. I didn't read all 8 pages, so I don't think anyone has mentioned this. I read about a study (this was at least a few years ago) about sexuality in animals. The study basically stated that in a species is in threat of over population or is overpopulated the percentage of homosexuality rises, and once the population reduces, so does homosexuality. I'd try to find this article again, but I'm on a government computer and a lot of news websites and such are blocked to me.
  8. Are you saying that it makes you mad that atheists feel that there is nothing wrong with being atheist? Why would that make you, personally, angry? I'm not trying to unconvert you or tell your children what they should and should not believe, so why would that make you angry? If that's what your saying at all. You were a tad bit vague. Actually, you are trying to convert our children away from God. Atheism is the ONLY religion allowed into our schools despite the mounting evidence against it. But, I know that you suffer from the spirit of the anti-Christ as no amount of reason will make the schools allow Jesus back in. again, there is more evidence in favor of Jesus than there is in the support of atheism. You atheists refuse to allow contrary teaching of our children because, in vain I might add, you think that if you poison enough minds while young, you could stamp out Christianity all together. Your atheistic beliefs cannot stand up to the truth of the Gospel, and you know this. That is why Jesus is not allowed in schools, He is alive and He is real and you are afraid to face Him on the day of judgment. Jesus loves you, whether you want Him to or not. But reject His sacrifice for you, and He must reject you on the day of judgment, as He is so Holy, sin cannot be near Him. You won't be rejecting me, you will be rejecting God, 1. Atheism is not a religion 2. Atheism is NOT taught in schools (I'm assuming you're talking about the theory of evolution. You don't have to be an atheist to agree that evolution makes sense) 3. I suffer from the spirit of the anti-christ? I'm not even sure I know what you mean by that. 4. Yes, my goal in life is to poison the minds of children. 5. Christianity is not allowed in schools because we are a secular society with many beliefs. Not everyone believes what you believe. You make it personal when it isn't. 6. I can't be afraid of what I don't believe in.
  9. Just because it is mainstream does not make it correct. Everyone used to believe that the earth was flat too. That was mainstream as well. Higher numbers of people believing something doesn't make it true.
  10. It is not the atheists job to disprove god since we claim he doesn't exist. It is the theist who claims the existance of something, therefor up to them to prove he does exhist. Please don't take this example as an attack. It is not my intention. If I were to say to you, "Unicorns are real" Would it be your job to prove me wrong? Or wouldn't it be more logical for me to provide proof that unicorns do exist? Extreem claims require extreem evidence.

  12. Actually, If I woke up one day to find a good amount of the population had dissapeared, my first thought wouldn't be rapture. I'd probably be looking around for a tree with "Croatoan" etched into it. Not that we know what happened to those people either. Plus, I think it's hard to tell who is a TRUE christian and who isn't. Because there are so many different denominations of christianity (though they are pretty simillar), it would be difficult to tell who got it right, and would they be the only ones who dissapeared?
  13. I'm glad you brought this up. I've always thought that they did that just to symbolize that the bread was the flesh of Christ and that wine was the blood. It's interesting to see other peoples takes on this ritual. I honestly don't know that much about Catholism (even though my dad was a Catholic, he never really talked about it.)
  14. Well said. I feel the same way.
  15. I'm really confused now. He was using George as a metaphor for God...but your last statement by George makes him sound like an atheist. Am I the only one confused?
