  1. Happy Valentine's Day Jadey and Mike. I hope you have a blessed day.
  2. http://www.ijreview.com/2015/02/249386-florida-school-pressured-punish-student-saying-god-bless-america/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=organic&utm_content=conservativedaily&utm_campaign=Politics This is very quite sad that he is being punished over this for offending students who are atheists. I think people like this student need to be encouraged. I mean "In God we trust" is still on our money. I dont see why he can get in trouble for saying that its freedom of speech.
  3. Well I love the idea of blogging. I have tried blogging before but the problem I encounter is what do I have to say that is worth sharing and also I dont have any readers apparently. I will say from past blogging experiences that it should not be used for venting or complaining about people. I can personally say in the past I did it implicitly and it caused problems for me in some friendships. Blogging is not to be used for gossip either. Well i have not kept mine updated I just let it go sorta lol. Maybe when I have something worth sharing I will write again.
  4. LOL enoob. Im glad to be here too with you all.
  5. Oh I know I already came across 2 articles about pedophiles wanting the same rights as gays which is shameful. I strongly believe that people should not be forced to pay 150,000 or 200,000 bucks because they live according to their religious convictions. I mean what is the point of having that freedom and right in the constitution if its only going to be done away with?
  6. Oh is this George the George from Worthy? That is neat I wish I had sound so I can hear it.
  7. http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2015/02/03/christian-bakers-face-government-wrath-for-refusing-to-make-cake-for-gay/ okay my friend wingnut encouraged me to post this link to this thread. He says it fits right here so I am posting it to share with you all.
  8. well I believe it is determined by God when one should die and life and when people kill them self they are playing God. They are taking it into their own hands I mean I do not think that anything surprises God He knows are every thought and feeling and what we will say and do before we even know what we will say and do. In the Bible Judas took his own life but I havent found any verses that says what happens to a person if they commit suicide. We have to trust God with their eternal state I guess its between God and that person.
  9. yeah no kidding and im so glad that no one was hurt because of it. good thing the incident was noticed and reported. Glad that he is removed from work he should know better than to drive a zamboni drunk. shame on that man
  10. Thanks Keith That is well spoken and defined thank you. Its given me a lot to ponder.
  11. "And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them."—Luke 2:20. HAT was the subject of their praise? They praised God for what they had heard—for the good tidings of great joy that a Saviour was born unto them. Let us copy them; let us also raise a song of thanksgiving that we have heard of Jesus and His salvation. They also praised God for what they had seen. There is the sweetest music—what we have experienced, what we have felt within, what we have made our own—"the things which we have made touching the King." It is not enough to hear about Jesus: mere hearing may tune the harp, but the fingers of living faith must create the music. If you have seen Jesus with the God-giving sight of faith, suffer no cobwebs to linger among the harpstrings, but loud to the praise of sovereign grace, awake your psaltery and harp. One point for which they praised God was the agreement between what they had heard and what they had seen. Observe the last sentence—"As it was told unto them." Have you not found the gospel to be in yourselves just what the Bible said it would be? Jesus said He would give you rest—have you not enjoyed the sweetest peace in Him? He said you should have joy, and comfort, and life through believing in Him—have you not received all these? Are not His ways ways of pleasantness, and His paths paths of peace? Surely you can say with the queen of Sheba, "The half has not been told me." I have found Christ more sweet than His servants ever said He was. I looked upon His likeness as they painted it, but it was a mere daub compared with Himself; for the King in His beauty outshines all imaginable loveliness. Surely what we have "seen" keeps pace with, nay, far exceeds, what we have "heard." Let us, then, glorify and praise God for a Saviour so precious, and so satisfying. I was reading this and I dont understand it especailly how if u can see Jesus through God given sight how that is comparting to cobwebs.
  12. I dont know I never heard the speech and am confused and i think name changing constantly adds to the confusion. Its hard to keep up with al the various names for things.
  13. Well that is a creative use for plastic bags Nigel.
  14. my grandma collected plastic bags jade when she was alive thinking they would run out. trash bags are handy we do keep some around to use to empty trash cans in bathrooms etc or if my mom dies her hair she uses a trash bag to dispose of the hair die elements.
  15. Nigel my grandma when she was alive she collected plastic baggies and mom would find them everywhere in every drawer in the closet at her senior citizen living place. my grandma said she collected them in case baggies became rare and their was a shortage. there were so many that I never seen one person have all the ones that she did have.
  16. uh that is going to be really bad if that is true.
  17. wow what an expensive error. Its funny though Jade. Thanks for sharing. I was totally amused.
  18. Yep Mega that was well said right there. I agree with you. There seems to be right now a fad on people writing about "experiences" to Heaven and people will listen because they sound good to the ears. I give that guy kudos for recanting and being honest that must have been hard to do but he did the right thing and I am proud of him for being honest.
