Hello Blien: I think man has advised you well. An apology is in order on your part based upon the circumstances you gave when leaving whether or not you get a job there again. I don't see anything wrong with selling a bible, but I think (and this is my opinion only) that since you were convicted not to, I presume, I think you should have listened to the Holy Spirit's voice of conviction, donated the bible and trusted God to help you out on your shortage of funds. In any event, I would tell the Lord I am sorry for not listening to His voice if you think you are being punished and rely on His Word to guide you. The Lord forgives. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 I would not concern myself with superstition because you are a child of God, bought and paid for with the blood of Christ. Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 1 John 4:4
