  1. I have 2 of them: Psalms 118:17 I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. Hebrews 13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
  2. Why do you feel this way?
  3. Hit enter and have spaces. Hard to read.
  4. That was a great article. I can think of times I was in each kind of those "pride" areas. I think pride is a hard area for anyone...Our society is so "me" anymore that pride is a huge problem.
  5. So you are saying we should punish the men and women serving because it isnt a "formal" declaration of war? If this is wrong let me know. That is how I took.
  6. Thanks. I forget that this board has a search function. This is really the main forum I am at so that is really new to me. I know one of the kids that go to school with my son, and he has alot of cds I hear. I am going to see if he has any of the ones listed. I hate buying cds until I hear at least a sample of it. So I know I could borrow from him to see what we like. Then I have a reason to go shopping LOL
  7. I have very few christian cds. I have Casting Crowns and those NOW or WOW mixture cds. I was wondering what other groups are good to listen to? I am getting tired of the few I have and I hate to buy a cd when I have never heard of 99% of the groups. So I was wondering if you guys have any favorites. Because I can go to one of our stores and test a cd, but I have no clue where to start. I dont want to stand there all day trying cds....Thanks.

  12. My husband showed me another article on it. I posted it the general forums. It makes me sad to see this. I dont see how reading the Bible is bad.
  13. Alls I can say is they need to spend more time reading the Bible. They have way to much free time on their hands. When Jesus comes back its not going to matter who won in 2004. I am tired of hearing people say "I am ashamed of theUSA"

  20. I hate Wal-mart, I will spend more money on somethings at other stores. The only bad thing is with a family of 6 and basically a one family income we do need to shop there as they are the cheapest.
  21. I didnt get that understanding at all. A bullhorn or whatever is not a loud intercom system. I to would like to see both vidoes.
  22. Just wondering what you all thought about this story. I posted the link and the story for you to read. http://www.snopes.com/info/random/random.htm The Philadelphia Story Claim: Four Christians in Philadelphia face a potential sentence of 47 years in prison for preaching in public. Status: True. Example: [Collected on the Internet, 2005] PENNSYLVANIA CHRISTIANS FACE 47 YEARS IN PRISON FOR READING THE BIBLE IN PUBLIC Philadelphia charges Christians with hate crimes, inciting a riot, and using a deadly weapon. Bill O'Reilly reported on the situation on Fox News Channel. Dear B., What we have been saying has now happened. You cannot quote what the Bible has to say about homosexuality in public or you will be charged with a "hate crime." Philadelphia is only the beginning. If we fail to take a stand here, this "crime" will soon be applied across America. In the 27 years of this ministry, I have never witnessed a more outrageous miscarriage of justice than what is happening in Philadelphia. Four Christians are facing up to 47-years in prison and $90,000 in fines for preaching the Gospel on a public sidewalk, a right fully protected by the First Amendment. On October 10, 2004, the four Christians were arrested in Philadelphia. They are part of Repent America. Along with founder Michael Marcavage, members of Repent America
  23. One school in our town is not allowing star shaped cookies.....they are deemed to be to religious. Now I think that is going way to far.
  24. Can anyone explain what these are?
  25. This is so sweet of you to do. I think it is sad when people take advantage of something like this. The 10 dollars can be spent better.
