  1. Not even Fox News covered it? Glen Beck? Sean Hannity? Do these media influences honestly need to be clued in and given fair warning of such events to know to watch for them?
  2. Pathetic. They actually have so little going for them that they cannot go without badmouthing someone else to win an election. Such people have no honor and therefor no ethics. How someone could trust or respect them enough to elect them is beyond me.
  3. I've found myself quoting this a lot lately but it bears remembrance as we witness these "interesting" times. Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight! (NAS, Isaiah 5:20-21) The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For out of the abundance of his heart his mouth speaks. ( Luke 6:45)
  4. http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/09/...y-liberals.html How sad. They should be ashamed. Who? The blogger or the litterbugs? The litterbugs. The blogger apparently was curious about the same thing.
  5. You know what? Now that I think about it there is one place, if I had been in their shoes, that I couldn't have passed up. Give up? Chicago. I would bet that this video will be the cherry on top after all the others have been shown. Think about it.
  6. Consider them tests. Perhaps even Satan himself probing you for weakness.
  7. Not likely... Only if people become outraged will they dare to challenge liberal politics. The liberal media has played dead and said nothing that might lend itself to incriminating or implicating Obama. It's called guilt by association and they know all too well how well it works. Just look how well it worked when they painted McCain as a copy of Bush. The problem here is they cannot formulate a respectable counterattack outside of calling everyone involved a racist. What' worse this time around is that the ACORN worker is a white lady and still gives them advice how to evade police and taxes while stockpiling money off the backs of these 13 children to fund his (the pimps) career in politics. She made it a point to say some of the things were "illegal" but never stopped to say they were wrong. What's more is that there is at least one more video yet to be released and I suspect several more.

  9. The way I see it, Rifqa Bary's fears very real and and are not mislain especially when you consider how many honor killings there have been of late. She should not be forced against her will to return to some place she feels she would be in danger. She should emancipated and let that be the end of it.
  10. The governor seems clueless. No evidence? The girl certainly didn't run away for giggles. I think this governor should take the time to hear her side before making such statements.
  11. Ministry is a good word as well though it depends on whether you are still on milk or not. For those who are here to learn it seems more like a fellowship whereas those who are well versed seem to do more of the ministering.
  12. Something I'm curious about. How much trash was left to pick up compared to Obama's coronation rally? Before anyone jumps before looking my question is not racially motivated. I would simply like to compare the character differences between Obama's supporters and those who aren't.
  13. It's an interference with States' rights according to Obama, which is a line I usually expect to here from yourself. That'a all I'm gonna say... I find the statement interesting coming from a man on a crusade to federalize/nationalize health care in the name of "reform". Similarly we would then have to question how it is that the stimulus dollars slotted for unemployment benefits came with conditions, such as mandatory extension of benefits, that ultimately would have "interfered" with states rights. Once again it's the double standard. Do as I say, not as I do.
  14. http://www.biblepages.web.surftown.se/eg06.htm Since we do not qualify as a congregation I do agree that fellowship is the most accurate term. However, what most people are calling churches (chirches) are not and would be more appropriately referred to as houses of worship.
  15. The language is very subtle but there is a difference between an oath, a pledge, a promise and to swear. IMO an oath is a formal guarantee of commitment and a pledge is an informal statement of commitment. Again it's very subtle but id does change the context in which they apply. A pledge and a promise are informal and personal. An oath and swearing are more formal and carry more weight because they tend to put something on the line such as their family name or are done in the presence of witnesses. I have a question. If these children must be given the opportunity to "opt out" of saying the pledge of allegiance then how is it they can be forced to wear uniforms without being given a choice? How is it that schools in FLA were permitted to force children to watch Obama's broadcast? You see. The whole public school system is a complete violation of children's right to chose so how is it they can be forced to attend school but should be allowed to chose whether or not to speak a pledge to the nation that is paying for their education? To me this is sending mixed signals and it's no wonder our children are so mixed up.
  16. This is how they get the liberals to dismiss it as quickly as they read it. The mainstream media has them trained and whenever they use the word (conservative) liberals have been taught to play dead. Use the word democrat and they roll over. It's your average dog and pony show. I think this is why they like their piercings so much. They are prepared to be led around by the nose or whatever body piercing is available as long as they don't have to think or do for themselves ever again.
  17. Here's a quote from Obama that our beloved press has been silent about. "Look, it's an all volunteer force." "Nobody made these guys go to war. They had to have known and accepted the risks. Now they whine about bearing the costs of their choice? It doesn't compute...
  18. This should come as no surprise considering our government is spending it quicker than they can print it. I believe this is a deliberate attempt to destroy our nation by creating crisis upon crisis to justify their takeover.
  19. Iran doesn't develop anything by themselves. The bulk of Iran's technological achievements can be credited to Russia and her involvement.
  20. Jerusalem is one area where I don't believe Israel should compromise. That being said, yes I believe they are tempting fate,as it were, and are only aggravating the situation. Perhaps if they hadn't been pushing into the West Bank, as they have, they might be able to better justify further annexation of Jerusalem. Perhaps one of our Jewish members would be kind enough to explain the situation better for us. Personally I am curious what these Muslims in Jerusalem do for a living. I would not be surprised at all if they were being paid simply to occupy space in Israel.
  21. It's no secret that this administration is overtly agenda driven and so the big question here is: What do they hope to achieve by preparing and airing a speech for the nation's children? The first thought seems to have been indoctrination but it seems likely they have revised the speech to be more subtle, perhaps bordering on subliminal. Personally I agree with the skeptics that there must be something to be gained by this administration else they would not be doing it to begin with.
  22. Thank you for sharing this. It is very inspirational. I will have to watch all of them later as I am at work.
  23. Before I was saved, like days before, I also had a dream where I flew on a triangular space craft. In my dream I was taken to a colony on another world. The strangest thing about it was that I had the dream two nights in a row. This had never happened to me before. Both times my dreams begin with me standing in a field of smoldering ashes and when I look up I see the craft coming down to get me. Strange eh? Not quite as strange as eating the sun but strange.
  24. I think I would rather the flu than GB syndrome. Like you said for those who are immuno-suppressed it would be advisable but for those who are otherwise healthy it might be a good idea simply to take plenty of vitamin c and wash your hands often.
