  1. So true..... Thanks for sharing......
  2. 1. If I am afraid to speak the truth lest I lose affection, or lest the one concerned should say, "You do not understand", or because I fear to lose my reputation for kindness; if I put my own good name before the other's highest good, then I know nothing of Calvary love. 2. All the great temptations appear first in the region of the mind and can be fought and conquered there. We have been given the power to close the door of the mind. We can lose this power through disuse or increase it by use, by the daily discipline of the inner man in things which seem small and by reliance upon the word of the Spirit of truth. It is God that worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. It is as though He said, 'Learn to live in your will, not in your feelings.' 3. If I belittle those whom I am called to serve, talk of their weak points in contrast perhaps with what I think of as my strong points; if I adopt a superior attitude, forgetting "Who made thee to differ? and what hast thou that thou hast not received?" then I know nothing of Calvary love. 4. If a sudden jar can cause me to speak an impatient, unloving word, then I know nothing of Calvary love. For a cup brimful of sweet water cannot spill even one drop of bitter water, however suddenly jolted. 5. Those who think too much of themselves don't think enough. 6. God, harden me against myself! 7. If I can easily discuss the shortcomings and the sins of any; if I can speak in a casual way even of a child's misdoings, then I know nothing of Calvary love. 8. Let us not be surprised when we have to face difficulties. When the wind blows hard on a tree, the roots stretch and grow the stronger, Let it be so with us. Let us not be weaklings, yielding to every wind that blows, but strong in spirit to resist 9. You can always give without loving, but you can never love without giving. 10. If I can enjoy a joke at the expense of another; if I can in any way slight another in conversation, or even in thought, then I know nothing of Calvary love.

  4. Cut The Rope And Trust In GOD They tell the story of a mountain climber, who desperate to conquer the Aconcagua, initiated his climb after years of preparation. But he wanted the glory to himself, therefore, he went up alone. He started climbing and it was becoming later, and later. He did not prepare for camping but decided to keep on going. Soon it got dark… Night fell with heaviness at a very high altitude. Visibility was zero. Everything was black. There was no moon, and the stars were covered by clouds. As he was climbing a ridge at about 100 meters from the top, he slipped and fell. Falling rapidly he could only see blotches of darkness that passed. He felt a terrible sensation of being sucked in by gravity. He kept falling….and in those anguishing moments good and bad memories passed through his mind. He thought certainly he would die. But then he felt a jolt that almost tore him in half. Yes!! Like any good mountain climber he had staked himself with a long rope tied to his waist. In those moments of stillness, suspended in the air he had no other choice but to shout, “HELP ME GOD”, “HELP ME!” All of a sudden he heard a deep voice from heaven.. “What do you want me to do?” “SAVE ME” “Do you REALLY think that I can save you?” “OF COURSE, MY GOD” “Then cut the rope that is holding you up.” There was another moment of silence and stillness. The man just held tighter to the rope. Next day the rescue team found a frozen mountain climber hanging strongly to a rope… TWO FEET OFF THE GROUND!!! ——————————————————————————- How about you? How much are you trusting in that rope? Why don’t you let it go? I tell you, God has great and marvelous things for you. CUT THE ROPE AND SIMPLY TRUST IN HIM…
  5. I may never see tomorrow; There's no written guarantee And things that happened yesterday Belong to history. I cannot predict the future I cannot change the past I have just the present moments I must treat them as my last. I must use this moment wisely For it soon will pass away And be lost forever As part of yesterday. I must exercise compassion Help the fallen to their feet Be a friend unto the friendless Make an empty life complete. The unkind things I do today May never be undone And friendships that I fail to win May nevermore be won. I may not have another chance On bended knee to pray And I thank God with a humble heart For giving me this day. Unknown
  6. A little boy was spending his Saturday morning playing in his sandbox. He had with him his box of cars and trucks, his plastic pail, and a shiny, red plastic shovel. In the process of creating roads and tunnels in the soft sand, he discovered a large rock in the middle of the sandbox. The boy dug around the rock, managing to dislodge it from the dirt. With a little bit of struggle, he pushed and nudged the large rock across the sandbox by using his feet. When the boy got the rock to the edge of the sandbox, he found that he couldn't roll it up and over the wall of sandbox. Determined, the little boy shoved, pushed, and pried, but every time he thought he had made some progress, the rock tipped and then fell back into the sandbox. The little boy grunted, struggled, pushed, & shoved; But his only reward was to have the rock roll back, smashing his chubby fingers. Finally he burst into tears of frustration. All this time the boy's father watched from his living room window as the drama unfolded. At the moment the tears fell, a large shadow fell across the boy and the sandbox. It was the boy's father. Gently but firmly he said, 'Son, why didn't you use all the strength that you had available?' Defeated, the boy sobbed back, 'But I did, Daddy, I did! I used all the strength that I had!' 'No, son,' corrected the father kindly. You didn't use all the strength you had. You didn't ask me.' With that the father reached down, picked up the rock and removed it from the sandbox. Do you have 'rocks' in your life that need to be removed? Are you discovering that you don't have what it takes to lift them? There is always someone such as a loved one or a friend available to us and who is willing to give us the strength we need. Isn't it funny how in life we often try so hard to do things ourselves, when all we had to do was ask for help? Our Heavenly Father is always there to help us....
  7. MOVE CLOSER Not long ago I heard a story about a young man and an old preacher. The young man had lost his job and didn't know which way to turn. So he went to see the old preacher. Pacing about the preacher's study, the young man ranted about his problem. Finally he clenched his fist and shouted, "I've begged God to say something to help me, preacher, why doesn't God answer?" The old preacher, who sat across the room, spoke something in reply, something so hushed it was indistinguishable. The young man stepped across the room. "What did you say?" he asked. The preacher repeated himself, but again in a tone as soft as a whisper. So the young man moved closer until he was leaning on the preacher's chair. "Sorry," he said. "I still didn't hear you." With their heads bent together, the old preacher spoke once more. "God sometimes whispers," he said, "So we will move closer to hear him." This time the young man heard and he understood. We all want God's voice to thunder through the air with the answer to our problem. But God's is the still, small voice... the gentle whisper. Perhaps there's a reason. Nothing draws human focus quite like a whisper. God's whisper means I must stop my ranting and move close to Him, until my head is bent together with His. And then, as I listen, I will find my answer. Better still, I find myself closer to God
  8. Health Check-Up by God I went to the Lord’s Clinic to have my routine check-up and I confirmed I was ill. When Jesus took my blood pressure, He saw I was low in tenderness. When He read my temperature, the thermometer registered 40 degrees of anxiety. He ran an electrocardiogram and found that I needed several “love bypasses” since my arteries were blocked with loneliness and could not provide for an empty heart. I went to orthopedics, because I could not walk by my brother’s side and I could not hug my friends, since I had fractured myself when tripping with envy. He also found I was short-sighted, since I could not see beyond the shortcomings of my brothers and sisters. When I complained about deafness, the diagnostic was that I had sopped listening to Jesus’ voice talking to me on a daily basis. For all of that, Jesus gave me a free consultation thanks to His mercifulness, so my pledge is to, once I leave this clinic, only take the natural remedies He prescribed through his words of truth: * Every morning take a full glass of gratitude. * When getting to work, take one spoon of peace. * Every hour, take one pill of patience, one cup of brotherhood and one glass of humility * When getting home, take one dose of love * When getting to bed, take two caplets of clear conscience ——————————- ——————————- ——————————- Do not give in to sadness or desperation for what you are going through today. God knows how you feel… God knows exactly and with perfection what is being allowed to happen to you in your life at this precise moment. God’s purpose for you is simply perfect. He wants to show you things that only you can understand by living what you are living, and by being in the place you are now. May God give you… * For every storm, a rainbow * For every tear, a smile, * For every care, a promise, * And a blessing in each trial. For every problem, life sends a faithful friend to share. For every sigh, a sweet song. And an answer for each prayer.
  9. Jesus Valued Unbroken Fellowship with the Father in Heaven Zac Poonen At the age of 95, having walked with God for over 65 years, the apostle John decided to write a letter - inspired by the Holy Spirit. The theme of his letter was `fellowship' (1 Jn. 1:3). Having seen churches and leaders who had left their first love (Rev. 2:4) and who now had a name that they were alive (with all their varied Christian activities) but who were in fact dead in God's sight (Rev. 3:1), John certainly saw that the great need was to lead Christians into the joy of fellowship with the Father and His Son Jesus Christ, inside the rent veil. There may be joy found in several fields of activity. Some find it in sport, some in music, some in their profession, and some even in Christian work. But the purest joy in the universe is to be found only in fellowship with the Father (1 Jn. 1:4). The psalmist says, "In Thy presence is fullness of joy" (Psa. 16:11). This was the "joy set before Him" that made Jesus willing to endure the cross daily (Heb. 12:2). The fellowshipwith the Father was Jesus' most prized possession. He did not value anything else in the universe in comparison with that. This fellowship was what Jesus knew would be broken on Calvary, when for three hours He would have to endure the agonies of an eternal hell for lost humanity (Matt. 27:45). Then the Father would have to forsake Him, and the fellowshipthat He enjoyed with the Father from all eternity would be broken for three hours. He dreaded that break of fellowship so greatly that He sweated great drops of blood in Gethsemane. The cup that He prayed to be removed from Him was just this: A break offellowship with His Father. If only we could see this and be gripped by it! How lightly we speak and sing about following Jesus! To follow Jesus means to value fellowship with the Father like He did. Sin would then become exceedingly sinful to us, for it breaks our fellowship with the Father. An unloving attitude towards another human being would not even be tolerated, for it would break our fellowship with the Father. May the Lord give us revelation so that we see clearly that true Christianity is nothing less than a life of unbroken fellowship with a loving Father in heaven.
  10. A Splendid Example of a Godly Man Zac Poonen It is interesting to see that when God decided to write Scripture, the very first book He wrote was about a godly man. That shows us what God is always looking for. He looked for a godly man in the time of Enoch, in the time of Noah and in the time of Job. God planned from the beginning to give us 66 books of Scripture. And in the very first of those books, He wrote about what was uppermost in His heart – a godly human being. Now notice the first sentence in the first inspired book of Scripture: “There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job, and that man was blameless, upright, fearing God and turning away from evil” (Job 1:1). Can you see the heart of God in the first sentence of Scripture? It was about one man - a man identified by his name – Job - and by the place he lived in– Uz (so that he is not confused with some other Job living somewhere else). And God gives His testimony of that man – not about his cleverness, or his wealth, or his reputation with other men, but only about his character. There we see what God truly values – uprightness, fear of God and turning away from all evil. God is not looking for people with Bible-knowledge. Job did not have any Bible- knowledge because there was no Bible then. He had no-one around him to encourage him to a godly life either. Even the preachers of his day only discouraged him by what they said. But in spite of all this, he lived an upright life. The Lord told Satan what was outstanding about Job: “There is no-one like him on the earth - a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil” (1:8). The fear of God – or reverence for God - is something that is mentioned much in this first book of inspired Scripture. Here we see that God compared Job with other people on the earth. God does that today too. It is not surprising that Satan made Job his target, for Satan hates upright people. He hated Job in those days - and he hates such people even today. That is why he does everything in his power to prevent us from being godly. Satan troubled Job through his wife and through carnal preachers. But none of this made any difference to Job’s devotion to his God. What a man Job was! What a challenge he is to us! We can be like him too. Now see how Job reacted to all the trials. He heard that everything had been lost. One after the other, his servants came and told him that everything was gone. And Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, fell to the ground and worshipped God (1:20). That’s another thing we see on the very first page of inspired Scripture: A godly man is a worshipper. More than knowing the Bible and more than serving the Lord, a man of God is primarily a worshipper. You must be a worshipper when you have everything and you must be a worshipper when you have lost everything. Jesus said, “God is a Spirit and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth, and the Father seeks for such worshippers” (John 4: 23, 24). To worship God is to give Him everything. Job said, “I came from my mother’s womb naked, and I shall return there naked. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.’ Through all this Job did not sin, nor did he blame God” (1: 21, 22). Job was probably referring here to Mother Earth from which he came naked and to which he will return as dust, naked. He willingly accepted whatever the Lord permitted in his life. When I think of Job’s dedication to the Lord, I am amazed. He did not have the example of Jesus and the apostles that we have. He had no examples whatsoever to follow. He did not have the power of the Holy Spirit that we have. He did not have the Bible that we have. He did not have the encouragement or support of fellow-believers or even of his own wife. Job only had God – and God was enough. If Job could come to such a glorious life, why can’t we?
  11. Hello Rose........ Don't be discouraged...... God loves you as He loved Jesus..... The only thing that I could say is pour out your heart before God.... Coz He is always near to those who are broken hearted and have a contrite spirit..... Pray in faith, sure He won't let you down.... He's our Father in Heaven... He cares for us so much than anyone on this earth. Jesus knows all your worries, so take it to Him in prayer.. My words may fail to comfort you, but certainly not God's word... Here are few verses from the Bible for your encouragement..... Hold on to God... Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 In the day of my trouble I call upon you, for you answer me. Psalm 86:7 Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. John 14:1 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. John 14:27

  13. What Baptism Means Romans 6:1-7 clearly explains the meaning of baptism. There we are told that our old man was crucified with Christ and that in baptism we are buried with Christ into death. The old man is the mind that we had in our unconverted days that wanted to sin. That has been crucified with Christ. We don't have to understand this first, before we live in the reality of it. We can just believe what God says. If God's Word says that our old man was crucified with Christ, then we believe it, just as surely as we believe God's Word when it says that Christ Himself was crucified on Calvary's hill. Both these truths are accepted by faith. The old man and the flesh are not the same. The flesh is the Self-life within us, that opposes the will of God. We all have to carry this with us until our dying day. We could compare the flesh to a gang of robbers seeking to enter our house. The old man is like an unfaithful servant inside our house who constantly opened the door for the robbers to enter. It is the unfaithful servant who has now been killed. The robbers however are hale and hearty! But now we have a new servant, the new man, who seeks to keep the door shut, against these robbers. In baptism, we testify to the death and burial of the old man (the desire to sin), and to being raised up with Christ so that we might henceforth "walk in newness of life" (Rom. 6:4). The flood in Noah's day is a type of baptism too (1 Peter 3:20,21). The whole world was destroyed by God through that flood. Noah went through it in the ark and came out of it into a brand new world. The old world and everything in it were all buried under the flood. This is what we testify to in baptism as well - that our old relationship with the world (and that includes worldly fashions and worldly friends etc.,) has all now been cut off and that we are now coming out of the water into a brand new world.
  14. WHAT GOD DID FOR JESUS HE WILL DO FOR YOU 1. When bowed with burdens and with care, Your soul is in despair; You don’t have to fear, God is very near. He loves you as He loved His Son And He will help you too; Just trust His word of promise And He will see you through. It is no secret what God can do; What He’s done for Jesus He’ll do for you; With mighty power He’ll strengthen you; It is no secret what God can do. 2. Though sin and evil fill this world And you are overcome; Yet God’s Word is true - “Sin can’t reign o’er you.” And when temptations’s pull is strong God’s grace will be your stay; So you can walk like Jesus In vict’ry every day. 3. When pain and sickness come to you And touch your loved ones too, God knows how you feel - He has power to heal. Your Father will provide your need - He’s faithful and He’s true; And as He cared for Jesus He will care for you. 4. O what a glorious comfort this - If you have come to know Jesus as your Lord And Elder Brother too. For all God has is now your own And He won’t let you go; And now that God is for you Who can be your foe? - Zac Poonen
  15. Nitish, Something struck me as I was reading your post. You said you are tired of those voices that whisper. Have you considered that these voices might not be your own? Many do not believe that the powers of darkness can attack or inhabit a Christian. I do not believe this for many reasons and all of them quite tangible and evident. I believe that often Christians do not give Satan and his forces enough credit and enough study. You see, the enemy is just that, a force that works diligently and tactfully. The spirits of darkeness have very personal and compelling reasons to find open doors, force doors open, or simply attach to human bodies and spirits. They wander in the cold deserts, in barren lands, living in crags and among thorns and holes. However, they find rest when they have a body to find a little piece of ground to occupy. This doesn't mean that the holy spirit does not own you; it means that they have been given permission by the individual to stay there. They are squatters. As we have free will, we can open our door unwittingly to these forces. Once in they work harder and harder to gain more ground. Each one of these spirits have a specific personality and its name is the sum total of this personality. Sounds to me like you may have a spirit of failure tormenting you. It has found this little open door and has his foot in it trying to force it wider and wider. It found that you reacted to promptings of being a failure. It found your guilt. It then proceeded to work at getting you weaker in that area by tempting you and arranging for opportunities to entice you to sin more and thereby feel more guilty and more of a failure. These enemy troops find help from other spirits to accomplish this, as they know once they have you feeling distant from God, they can find a toe hold for another spirit like maybe the spirit of drunkenness or self-loathing, the spirit of shame or laziness. Have you read how Jesus asked the spirits their names and the one replied Legion as we are many? They all then requested that Jesus not send them out of the country and instead into something else. They wanted a body and they wanted to stay in their physical location. Daniel mentioned his angel having to fight the princes of different counties. This would logically mean that there is order of rank within their troops. They did not want to fight again for rank outside of their social group, possibly. So, what should you do if this be the case? First, I would remove any unclean items from your home: frog figurines, owls, witchcraft symbols and books about the occult. Also look for things like magic cards and masks from areas in the world that commonly call upon dark spirits. Then, get your pastor to place oil above the door posts and windows while praying for cleansing. I know this sounds like mumbo jumbo, but these spirits must obey the word of God. The key is that you use this power given to you. It would be like having an intruder sleeping on your couch and threatening you; you have a gun loaded and ready but instead argue with the intruder and don't use the gun. Next, you need to pray and use the Bible scriptures that proclaim God's power and authority. Speak directly to the spirits by name and command them in Jesus' name to leave you and your house. Command them to not use other spirits for aid against you. Tell them that you are binding them from speaking to you or others in the name of Jesus who has all power and authority. Keep using lots of power scripture quotes. Don't stop praying for days. Also, fast for at least 3 days while praying whenever you feel hungry. Praise God out loud often. Then, once your voices to sin stop, don't you stop. They are tenacious and want back in bad. You must feast on the word of God daily and without fail. After a while you will hear the voices again telling you lies. Remember Axis Sally from the radio programs of WWII? She would broadcast how someone's wife was having and affair and use his name, she would list the names of fallen soldiers, she would mix lies and truth to undermine the troops mentally. She would then play popular music for the US to get the troops to listen to her broadcast. It was very disheartening for the soldiers fighting in the war. This is where you need to have a rear guard ready, someone watching your back. This is God and His angels. Call upon them and repeat the victory versus. As someone here posted that you need to give it all to God, this is true. But, you also have to use what God gave you as weapons of war and defense. Everyday put on the whole armor of God. If you are drawn to unrighteous things, say out loud, I rebuke you spirit of darkness and in the Power and Blood of Jesus I command you to leave. Also, realize that you may not be alone in this habitual sin, and those involved with you in it need to be distanced. Satan will use their voices and lies to trick you also. Remember, this is war. Satan and his forces are here and reign here. Their appointed time is not up and they are free to torment us. However, if we live instead in the spirit of God, placing our minds in line with His, we will be safe. They will not be able to truly hurt us. You can have victory, so don't believe those lying voices. Follow God's word and do what it says: fast and pray. May the Lord richly bless you. Janiebeth Thanks for your prayer janiebeth.........
  16. Tears rolled down my eyes as i was watching this video.......... I really don't know how far the extent of God's love would be........ I wish that i embrace His love that will keep me from sin....
