  1. I read your thread and greatly appreciate your referring it to me. Life changing experiences, indeed. Yes, I too have audibly heard Jesus as well as having seen Him in a vision, and then in dreams and then once in the flesh too. Also have spoken with the Father a few times. Christ Jesus spoke to me and taught me for nearly 3 years straight non-stop. Taught me many things, actually. Nothing new mind you, it's all in the Bible anyway. But then, you know, everyone has different understandings of it. Some things that were taught to me are very hard to see in the Bible, and I generally do not bring those subjects up unless another does or is looking for answers. This is not to say that I know everything because I don't think I do. But, we all know where all the answers come! Praise God, let us never stop praising God for thereby we enter into His gates!
  2. LOL, yes! There are many pearls. Since you liked that one, how about: Jesus answered and said to him, "Because I said to you that I saw you under the fig tree, do you believe? You will see greater things than these." John 1:50 Jesus was there, present with Nathanael under that fig tree, but Nathanael couldn't "see" him! At this time Jesus was as we are, in a human body, but . . . He was there, under that fig tree, unseen. How could this be? Permie, good friend, you've done your homework! (unscriptural . . . grumble, grumble) The Spirit goes where it will. Scripture tells us that all Jesus said was that "Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig tree, I saw you.
  3. I have to disagree with you statement colored. The Holy Spirit resides in us, guiding us, teaching us, creating a us into the likeness of Christ. Unbelievers do not have the Holy Spirit; therefore, can not walk in the spirit as you say. I read that differently. I didn't think "unbelievers" were being spoken about, but rather those who hold to the One True God. Jesus is not in the unsaved, so they can not meet and serve Jesus in them. You need to be careful stating that those who are not His have Christ and the Holy Spirit in them ... I would have used different terminology. Even so, what Spirit is it that returns to God that gave it upon physical death? I too think all have the Spirit, but that not all have been reconciled back to God yet. It is God's Spirit that animates us. Seems to me that none would live without His animating presence within us. I think also that if we were to first consider that what we "do to the least of these" by seeing the Christ Spirit within others, even if that Spirit has not been born in them, may... just may expedite it's birth.
  4. Thank you. I shall take the opportunity to read it before long.
  5. I would think that "fulness of bread" would indicate abundance of food, which could have indicated gluttony. Additionally, since further into the verse it mentions that Sodom did not strengthen the hand of the poor and needy, that would indicate that Sodom did not share their abundant food. That's what it makes me think of.

  7. Isn't it most awesome? The King of kings and the Lord of lords will call us friends. I am awed and humbled by this. I just recalled a verse about this being called friends by Jesus and how it relates our going from glory to glory. That verse is: John 15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. And then, that leads me to think of the verse: Luke 8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. Could that cause one to pause and wonder: is there more that Jesus revealed and continues to reveal to His friends that is not written? That the servants to this day know nothing of, yet? Can you expound on this a little more? I am trying to follow what you are saying am this threw me a curve. Hello, OneLight, We know that Jesus taught and did more than what is written due to this verse: And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen. John 21:25 Did I answer your question?
  8. Yes, indeed. It's one of the reasons, imo, that Sodom and Gomorrah was condemned... for the lack of entertaining strangers. They were condemned for their homosexuality and other perversions. The lack of entertaining strangers was the least of it. I have to agree that their perversions were great. It could be that it all began with their lack of hospitality? The bible tells us: 49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good. Ezekiel 16:49-50

(unscriptural . . . grumble, grumble) The Spirit goes where it will. Yes, and Jesus was bodily in a different city! Edited to add: reminds me of the time where he sent His disciples to get a donkey, where it was tied and what to say to the owner. Yes, the Spirit goes where it will. 'Twas an unbroke colt, too, but that colt apparantly was quite familiar with this Jesus. I've often thought animals "see" things we can't. Hehehe. Permie, you amaze me. Got any more? I too believe that animals see much that we can not. While there are not examples, that I recall right off hand, of Jesus speaking to animals I have no doubt that He could and did. St. Francis of Assisi provides examples also of this phenomena. As for other examples? Well, do keep in mind that Jesus said that all He did, we would do and more. So, some other supernatural manifestations would have to be: Seeing a person's soul. Knowing a person's entire history of life. Heard other people's thoughts. Knew the intentions of people. Knew what someone would do. That's just off the top of my head. Surely, there's more.
  11. Having also come from a nest of unbelievers, I dare say you're arrival is a true miracle! YOU are a miracle! Is it not a miracle that I'm conversing with you from a million miles away? God knows what He's doing. When Jesus said that , "Follow me," thing---He meant it. Seek and you shall find. Ask and it will be given. Jesus loves you, Grumpy, and so do we! Amen.

  13. Mike, I would daresay that you just do not recognize the mountain that you have indeed moved.

  15. Sometimes people just don't believe, can't bring themselves to believe that someone has seen or experienced something supernatural in Christ. So I just carry on..... But yes I have experienced, seen, miracles Unfortunately, sometimes even believers don't believe. But, yes, by all means . . . carry on! Jesus said: "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. John 14:12 Besides the walking on water, and feeding the multitudes and healing all who came to Him, what are some other works that Jesus did? I'll offer this first one and others can add to it: Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by. John 8:59 Let us also not fear those who wish to denounce such activities as demonic, even the religious of Jesus' day accused Him, Our Savior, of the same. Which reminds me, let us also not share in the satanic spirit of accusing the brethren! Especially when what may be being observed or spoken about is actually because of what was written above: transformed into the same image from glory to glory. Yes, let us all be transformed into the image of Our Lord and Savior: Christ Jesus!
  16. Sometimes people just don't believe, can't bring themselves to believe that someone has seen or experienced something supernatural in Christ. So I just carry on..... But yes I have experienced, seen, miracles You are so right, Fez! People today instead of being stoned to death with actual rocks instead receive blows of words. In this can be blessings too. I have no doubt that you have experienced and also seen miracles. I read your testimonial the other day and the first miracle was the supernatural experience of His love given to you! Rejoice! Ha! How can we not? Let us let all know that ALL things are possible through Christ. Praise be to His name!

  19. There are, I believe, many wondrous and glorious things awaiting the new born and born again believer. Some of these things might include having seen and conversed with angels and also having seen and conversed with Christ Jesus. Are there any here whom have? To be fair, I'll answer my own question first: Yes, both. So! Let's share and also if you want, speak of that which St. Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.in the glories that God has performed. To God always be the praise, the glory and the power forever!
  20. Speaking of the media. It occurs to me that they intentionally take things out of context to cause a ruckus, which gives more food to the little imps and devils around. It works because so few actually find out what the context and truth is and instead believes what the news tells us. There was a time, I believe, that the news media could be trusted. We no longer live in that time.
  21. While watching the news yesterday afternoon there was shown a 13 year old boy who was crying: Why, God, why is this happening?!?!? This brought home to me one of the specific things we need to be asking for in prayer, and that is that it be revealed to them the why. Surely, that little boy is not the only one asking why.
  22. Perhaps the Lord wants to reveal truths to you from Matthew 20:1-16 being "The worker in the vineyard " which contains prophetical knowledge within it and yet it is backward "The last shall be first, and the first shall be last" you'll gain the knowledge from "the worker in the vineyard" by systematic study--hence science we are told to study to show ourselves approved unto God a workman that needeth not be ashamed. just thoughts "For rebellion is no less a sin than divination, and stubbornness is like iniquity and idolatry" - 1st Samuel 15:23 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream. Numbers 12:6 God's words. 1 While they were at Hazeroth, Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had indeed married a Cushite woman); 2 and they said, "Has the Lord spoken only through Moses? Has he not spoken through us also?" And the Lord heard it. 3 Now the man Moses was very humble, more so than anyone else on the face of the earth. 4 Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tent of meeting." So the three of them came out. 5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, and stood at the entrance of the tent, and called Aaron and Miriam; and they both came forward. 6 And he said, "Hear my words: When there are prophets among you, I the Lord make myself known to them in visions; I speak to them in dreams. 7 Not so with my servant Moses; he is entrusted with all my house. 8 With him I speak face to face
  23. The woman has a point Because it fulfills him to also kill, steal and destroy. Additionally, the benefits of witchcraft can make people happy... Satan and his minion's food are the emotions of misery. If people are happy and content, there's no food. Hence why the bible instructs us to Rejoice for this is the day the Lord hath made. Praise God and enter His gates thereby.
