  2. Not sure this qualifies as weird and wacky... but when i saw it, that was the first feeling that came to my mind.. If its not weird or wacky, i'm sure a mod will move it... http://lindaikeji.blogspot.com/2015/08/photos-rwandan-pastor-forces-all.html

    Friends

welcome to worthy... Pray for them...
  4. Thanks to everyone that offered an answer and explanation. If my question offended anyone, or sounded like some sort of insult to anyone... i sincerely apologize... My questions, including this one, are born out of curiosity and a hunger to learn...
  5. Sorry to disappoint you my friend... i am allowed to disappoint you... lol... i'm only human. I don't know where you got the idea of how "strongly" i feel about this, i clearly stated it was a question, and asked for people's opinion.. and so far, i have learned so much... In any case, thank you for explaining...
  6. you were unregenerate until you became a Christian... or you were unregenerate until you became a born again... Until I became a "Born Again Christian....Christian! LOL...
  7. you were unregenerate until you became a Christian... or you were unregenerate until you became a born again...
  8. In my defense... LOL.. The term is really abused here, and we (Christians) try as much as possible to avoid using the term born again Christian... its as abused to the point where we now have chrislam.. that's those who practice Islam and Christianity.. We even have those who practice traditional, islam and christian religion... and they also have their own term...
  9. The term "Christian" is found in the New Testament, and in the light of Scripture it AUTOMATICALLY means one who has been born again, born from above, born of God, regenerated, become a new creature in Christ, become a child of God. So "born again Christian" is really the only kind of Christian God recognizes. Because millions are "Christian" in name only, the term "born again Christian" has come into use to distinguish true possessors from false professors. BTW Jesus never used the word "Christian" anyhow. He spoke of His "disciples". Thanks Ezra.
  10. Well, yes... it is regularly used... and yes, i use it too in some gatherings where i would not want to do too much explaining... but amidst those who should understand.. You are a Christian should be enough to explain where you stand...
  11. This is the way it sounds... it is possible to be a Christian and not be born again... and that is what i don't agree with. If we can't have a non-born again Christian, then why encourage the "world" to believe such? In my opinion, their is no good christian, no moderate christian, no bad christian, no born again christian, no non-born again christian... There is no fence... its binary... 1 or 0... you are either a Christian or not...
  12. who's cher's son? In any case, you get my point... lol
  13. I agree. You are a Christian means you have accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior... To say born again Christian is wrong in my opinion. Its like saying "i am a Male man", that makes no sense to me.
  14. Sure there are alternatives. Let's say a person has a speech impediment. He gets saved. He writes down his testimony and asks the person baptizing him to read it out aloud, so that all will hear what he has confessed with his "mouth". And generally a public confession or profession is most suitable and necessary at the time of baptism. Say a person is blind, but can speak. They can articulate their confession without any issues. Say a person is deaf. They can still read and write, and ask someone to read their confession. Believing in the heart -- genuine faith -- is just as important.
  15. I don't agree... each person is responsible for his heart... except you can support your claim with scripture... I didn't say any different, but only he knows your heart...... there is no way for me to know if you are a good person or a rat, for it's possible to hide that well...... I know some people who think they are good people but sin all the time willingly..... And Jesus tells us that they will not enter into heaven with him and that he never knew them. Jesus doesn't make your heart good or bad, but does know well what is really there. hmm
  16. I don't agree... each person is responsible for his heart... except you can support your claim with scripture...
  17. I'm guessing you don't mean Christ picks those who are saved... but that since he sees our hearts, he knows those who are truly saved.
  18. But the bible clearly states, you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart... There is no alternative... or is there?
  19. Is there any scripture that actually supports that claim that they will get free pass to heaven?
  20. If salvation is by believing in the heart and confessing with the mouth. And faith comes by hearing the word of God... Can the deaf and non-verbal be saved? And what happens to those who are incapable of deciding for themselves... Or even the blind? Just a question that came to my heart this evening... I'll appreciate your opinions. Thank you
  21. Thank you fro the reminder.
  22. 1. First of all it is NOT a "gay" wedding but a wretched wedding. Paul says that the things which are done are not even to be mentioned because they are so filthy. 2. Homosexual unions are condemned and judged in Scripture, not celebrated with cakes. Lot's wife was judged for even looking back at Sodom and Gomorrah. Think about that. 3. God hates the sin and loves the sinner. Therefore the only message to give to homosexuals (as to all sinners) is repent and be converted. 4. Therefore baking a cake for a homosexual "wedding" (a perversion of the word) is giving approval to that which is condemned by God. A homosexual wedding is actually a Satanic attack against lawful marriage and lawful unions.
