Hello, Meditate on 1 Corinthians 7:8-9 which speaks about "strong passions" to have a mate. But, even more importantly be sure to take all your thoughts capitive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). Be careful that your desire to be with someone isn't to fill a void in your life that only the Lord can fill. If the thoughts are from the Lord you will be at peace. He is not a God of confusion.

Discerning the heart not the hair. If we are led by the Spirit and obediently discern others from a spiritual perspective, we as believers, humbly understand that long, short or no hair is unimportant. But, rather it's the condition of the heart for the Lord that matters.
