We talked about this in Sunday School this morning...... most all of us read the Bible through filters that we've developed over the years. A Church Denominational teachings, or who we listen to on TV or read different books on the Bible. Those who don't have filters often take short pieces of scripture out of context and make them fit with other short pieces of scripture out of context and create things that are not real..... There are many reasons this happens, but ti almost always boils down to taking a thought or idea and getting the Bible to agree with that idea instead of just reading or listening to the Word and letting it speak to us. It also hurts when Paul writes sentences that are so complex and long that it's takes a bit of reasoning and knowledge of the english language and punctuation to really understand what the Bible is saying........ That is a reference to the small cylinders used in ancient times to put one's seal on a clay document. The Bible tells us the earth rotates on its axis like a cylinder making a seal. A. Wind Circulation In the seventeenth century George Hadley discovered that the winds circulate around the earth. Isostasy Isostasy is a field of study within geology that deals with the balance maintained within the earth's crust. Psalm 104:5, 8 tells us that God "established the earth upon its foundations, so that it will not totter .... Christianity isn't cruel. Man is the cruel one, after all man killed Jesus. I believe a Christian still has higher moral values than the non believing evolved society. Look at crime in the US and Mexico (drug wars). I wonder how many are Christians?

You may be able to pick and choose what you believe with science but you can't do that with God's Holy Word. Then what is faith? Don't blame Morning Glory. I was the one that pointed out the fact that there are those in your denom who are marrying homosexuals in defiance of God's Word. I don't respect that kind of activity. The Bible says homosexuality is a sin. If you can defend homosexuality over and against what the Bible says, that says alot about your "Christianity." We hold up the word of God over denominations. If that is a problem for you, you may want to reconsider your future here on this board, because we are not ashamed to say that God hates the act of homosexuality, He condemns it and calls it sin. If that makes you angry, your problem is with God and His Word. Amen!

If your not a born again Christian, you will never understand the scripture no matter how many time it's explained. I would like to read the answers you received already.
