  1. Marsh do you think if you were born at the time of Christ and saw the miracles you would have believed?
  2. Whats happening to our education system, happened long ago. Check this out! http://www.lamblion.us/2010/09/truth-of-christian-worldview-john-dewey.html
  3. If your dead to yourself it's hard to be offended, and that takes the grace of God!
  4. Bannon Howse! I like his work, have you listened to his stuff also? Yes! Lots of good news.
  5. This book is a good read. Shows how satan is destroying America today. http://www.worldviewweekend.com/secure/store/product.php?ProductID=1044
  6. The university I am attending does teach all of the above. The real message to the learners is to question and doubt everything. The real message I receive is that humans are confused. The above is confusing but God is not. The Word of God is clear. Blessings I feel like Job with my kids. I
  7. I came across this guy (Brannon Howse) speaking about worldviews and how they are affecting us today. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer. That's why I'm shocked that a lot of movements happening today was birthed 100 years ago or more Like "the New Age" movement. I thought it started in the 60's by some dude on LSD. Two Christians, Alice Bailey and Karl Marx, who fell to darkness views has influenced the world today. What caught my attention I underlined below. I'm not sure what my kid's worldview is either. Liberal/Conservative, I don't know. This guy has a book called Grave Influence. Can it be used as a teaching tool?
  8. What The American People Don't Know Will Hurt Them <B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">The following are excerpts from: <BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"><BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"> </B> Grave Influence: 21 Radicals and Their Worldviews Ruling America From The Grave by Brannon Howse<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal"> <BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"><BR style="mso-special-character: line-break"></B> Brannon Howse on Fabian Socialism: In the end, Fabian Socialists don't really want to own it if they can control it, and all they need to control it is a financial crisis that allows them to change laws, inflate the currency, and buy stock in corporations. Whether you call it nationalizing an industry or corporate fascism, the result is the same-the death of freedom and private property rights. Joan Robinson, a Marxist economist who worked with Keynes, declared that "the differences between Marx and Keynes are only verbal." I contend that many elected officials at the state and federal level are Fabian socialists committed to bring about a social revolution in America by deliberately creating an environment in which chaos and crisis can flourish for the purpose of bigger government-and to move us toward globalism. 9. I woke up this morning and this thought came to mind. Our technology has increased our ability to communicate, but it also made us more distant physically. I think we can lose our touch with others and much of our compassion for others online. I
  10. Yes, IF it is in the Lord's will. I don't think we can wield that power around just to protect our possessions... it has to be in the will of God. I believe it happened by God's will, Amen!

Archaic . strict faithfulness; devotion: a religion to one's vow. (Bold text is mine) Beliefs is the common word above. So an Atheist belief is considered a religion by definition. Since you don't believe in Christ your beliefs must be antichrist. 2 John 1:7 Many people who deceive others have gone into the world. They refuse to declare that Jesus Christ came in flesh and blood. This is the mark of a deceiver and an antichrist.
  12. i'm not so naive as to not ever expect this, but as agua has said, she really got to me. thanks for the encouragement though. Is she even born again? Pray for her, and in a loving way rebuke her actions. I'm surprised the pastor hasn't talked with her about her conduct. Matthew 18: 15"If your brother sins against you,[b] go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over. 16But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that 'every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.'[c]17If he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. God Bless You
  13. What if you've attended church all your life and have dedicated yourself to studying God's word? Are you still a "spiritual child" if you decide to forego the usual mainstream idea of church? Are you making a blanket statement that can't possibly apply to all people? If I visited every "Christian" church in my city looking for the right one...I would literally be church shopping for years. Trust God Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
  14. I get the impression from reading these posts there is some offense with those that don't speak in tongues. God doesn't love us any less no matter what we do or don't do (The Law). It's scriptural, but scripture says there are all kinds of ways to pray. Please don't be offended! Don't let Satan use our feelings and experiences against us. Ephesians 6:18 (New International Version) 18And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints. I was invited by my section chief to attend his church many years ago. I went just to suck up. In the service they started to speak in tongues and I thought I was in an insane asylum! I never went back. I think that's why Paul said what he said in Corinthians. This past year I was reading Corinthians and the issue of tongues came up. I focused my prayers on this issue. I wanted to believe but, from my natural mind and my experience there was unbelief. After a couple of weeks God told me to look for another church, which preached about the spiritual gifts. I went and attended a couple of services watching the people there, thinking of what happened in the past. Finally, I got up enough nerve to go to the alter and I asked them to pray for my gift. The pastor prayed and after that he said bring up from your belly an utterance. I tried to think and he said don't think what you want to say. He said it comes from your spirit inside. After that day satan was on me, critizing in every way for speaking in tongues. For a month I resisted and he fled. I used to pray with my mind and you can only think about so much without being repetitive. Now I notice my prayer time is much longer. Tongues just come up when my mind draws a blank. While praying in tongues I am able to think of things that have happened to me at work, my family and everything else that bothers me. I believe the Holy Spirit is interceding for me on those occasions when I can't put it in words. The main commandment is Love. God Bless and he loves you no matter what!
  15. Need to show this to some co workers who believe science is truth. There's an agenda in everything.
  16. -------------------------------------------------- Tongues, is Biblical, but........what is practiced today, is not Biblical tongues. The Biblical gift of tongues is the supernatural ability to speak in a language, that you have not been taught. I speak English only, but if God chose to, He could give me the ability to speak Spanish, if some Spanish speaking people needed to hear the Gospel. The Bible says....... Acts 2:1-13 V.1
  17. Forgiven Sins? Heb10: 12 But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God, 13 from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. Judge? John 8:14 Jesus answered and said to them, "Even if I bear witness of Myself, My witness is true, for I know where I came from and where I am going; but you do not know where I come from and where I am going. 15 You judge according to the flesh; I judge no one. 16 And yet if I do judge, My judgment is true; for I am not alone, but I am with the Father who sent Me. When will judgment come? Acts 1: 6 Therefore, when they had come together, they asked Him, saying, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?" 7 And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority. Beginning of sorrows, yes! 1 John 2: He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world. (nothing here says only believers) Non believers sin is not believing in Jesus! Are you saying we are in the tribulations?
  18. A question on judgment. Didn't God place all judgment and wrath on Jesus? If so, then we are making what Jesus did of no effect, by saying we are being judged by God.I think God is lifting his blessings because as a whole we are not following his commands and letting this fallen world take it's course. Judgement will come at the second coming of Jesus. Praise the Lord!
  19. Apostasy (falling away) 1: renunciation of a religious faith 2: abandonment of a previous loyalty is different from Backsliding. 1: to lapse morally or in the practice of religion 2: to revert to a worse condition Dictionary.com
  20. Has anyone seen the documentary : "The Third Jihad". Interesting info on Islam in America. Written by a Muslim. Just a guess.. We are not mention in the end times beacause 1 Economic collapse. 2 Crippling attack from within 3. Rapture
  21. In Christ\5 so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith, Romans 12 God Loves 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. 1John 4 HIS work 13 for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure. Philippians 2 HIS Promise 49 Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high. Luke 24 Ask! 13 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Luke 11 You will receive 22 And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive. Matthew 21 Why? 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4 Today? 58 Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Matthew 13
  22. I feel that the title to this topic is misleading. We all know that God is in control and everything is happening through God's divine purpose. From what my Spirit tells me God is a loving God and HE is not putting the devil on noone. We allow the devil to create strongholds in our lives thru sin. God gave us scripture to show us how to resist the devil until the day Jesus returns. 2 Corinthians 10:4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, This is what I believe and I'm not going to debate it anymore. God Bless you all! John 17:15 15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
  23. Job 1 12 And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person." Job 2 6 And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your hand, but spare his life." God gave man dominion over the earth and satan tricked Eve. Thats when the devil became the ruler of this earth. Before that he was a ministering angel to Adam and Eve. Wouldn't it make sense that God wanted his number one angel (Lucifer) to minister to his prized creation. Because of Lucifers pride things all changed. There is nothing in scripture that indicates that Satan was a "ministering angel" to anyone, much less Adam and Eve. The verse where you may believe you are justified in pulling this from is Hebrews 1:14, "Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?" A "ministering" spirit is one that is employed to execute the will of God, such as an angel. The term "malak" (Hebrew) and "angelos" (Greek) means "messenger," and as such would accomplish such errands as they would be dispatched on by the Lord. Your idea of "wouldn't it make sense that..." doesn't enter into it and fails the test of scripture. Further, it can be assumed that Satan fell sometime after the end of Genesis 1, seeing as God looked at His Creation and called it "very good" in verse 31 - something that could not have been said if sin had made it's way into the world at that time I understand this as Lucifer, because I thought Lucifer at one time was God's favorite angel until his pride caused him to fall? Ezekiel 28 11 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 12
  24. Thats what I'm saying. Yes The only authority that the devil has is what we allow.
  25. Job and Peter was asked for because it was prior to the crucifixion. We seem to discount what Jesus and the Holy Spirit is doing for us now. If God is putting the devil on us wouldn't God be going against God? (The Holy Spirit in us) Matthew 12:25 But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them:
