  1. Does it matter? Possibly. Ultimately, they want Israel wiped out, but the 1967 lines would give them back a lot of ground & they would be recognized as a state. So far, I haven't heard anything about the Temple Mount mentioned by either side in media, but I don't see Israel giving it completely up & am waiting to see if "permission" to build the next temple becomes part of the deal. That is the only thing I can think of that would cause Israel to even consider giving up land. I'm also watching for the Vatican to play a role somewhere in this mess. I found it interesting that John Kerry recently "discovered" his Jewish roots & he is a "devout" Catholic as well.
  2. Nebula, you left out this part--- "....whose future borders will be based on the 1967 lines...."
  3. Oh yeah, forgot to add that the EU is putting the pressure on Israel too! What timing, huh! http://www.israelnationalnews.com/News/News.aspx/169966#.Ue25FG3AGYD
  4. If the Palestinians get the pre-1967 borders back that they want-- that does include the Temple Mount & Western Wall. Here is transcript of radio broadcast of Israeli Army reclaiming the territory in 1967; http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/History/1967lib.html Here is what Prez O plans to do shortly(if not already done); The US Secretary also persuaded Abbas Friday to waive his ultimatum for peace talks to be based on 1967 borders. Instead, President Barack Obama will send him a letter affirming US recognition that the object of the negotiations is to establish a Palestinian state as the national home of the Palestinian people whose borders will be based on 1967 lines. Obama will send another letter to Netanyahu affirming that the negotiations must lead to the recognition of the state of Israel as the national home of the Jewish people, whose future borders will be based on the 1967 lines while also accommodating Israel’s security needs and its realistic demographic circumstances. The talks will proceed on two levels: The Israeli and Palestinian negotiating teams in Washington, who will defer to their principals, Binyamin Netanyahu, Mahmoud Abbas and John Kerry. Those three will only meet for direct talks when the teams have tangible results in the bag. http://www.debka.com/article/23134/DEBKAfile-Kerry-obtains-Israeli-Palestinian-consent-to-negotiate-interim-accord-without-borders-issue From the looks of the content of those letters the 1967 borders are going to be re-established. I guess we wait and see how it goes. PRAY for the peace of Jerusalem!
  5. The newer versions of the Bible have added "the" in from of antichrist in that verse. The King James says, "Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." (1st John 2:18) No mention of "the Antichrist". Perhaps you should check the Greek. In the Greek, there is the following: paidia (little-boys-and-girls) eschatE (LAST) hOra (hour) estin (it-IS) kai (and) kathOs (according-AS) Ekousate (YE-HEAR) hoti (that) ho (THE) antichristos (INSTEAD ANOINTED (antichrist)) erchetai (IS-COMING) ... You are correct thought, many versions do leave out the word "the". I wonder if they realized what a mess that would be to leave out one word? I think you meant to say that many versions of the Bible have "added" the word the in front of antichrist, which is certainly the case. But in the King James you won't find the term "the antichrist" in 1st and 2nd John. No, I said what I meant. Let me ask you this, which came first, the Greek transcripts or the bible as we have it? I quoted the Greek for the purpose to show you that the word was there before the translators translated scripture into other languages, thus eliminating the word from the bible, not adding the word to the bible, as you proclaim. I don't accept any other version of the scriptures except the King James. I don't even accept the New King James version, because ALL of the newer translations have taken away from, and/or added to the King James in an attempt to make the newer versions say things which a depraved generation would have it say.. When compared with the Greek manuscripts, the King James Version IS a "new" translation.
  6. I was shocked to see the manner in which this is being done in Gwinnett County in Georgia. What do you think of this? I understand that driving under the influence needs to stop, but where does one draw the line here? I think I have to agree with the guy that asks "What country is this?" from article: The policy of police obtaining a warrant to draw blood from those merely suspected of being drunk at a DUI checkpoint or a routine traffic stop has been in place for years across many states, but to actually see it in action is disturbing. The clip shows individuals being strapped down on a padded table at the Gwinnett County jail. Even those who show no resistance whatsoever are forcibly restrained and have their heads pressed down by an officer using his elbow. http://www.infowars.com/shock-video-shows-police-forcibly-drawing-blood/
  7. The 10-inch tall relic, an offering to the Egyptian God Osiris, was found in a mummy’s tomb and has been at the Manchester Museum for 80 years. But in recent weeks, curators have been left scratching their heads after they kept finding it facing the wrong way. They now believe there could be a ‘spiritual explanation’ for the turning statue. http://vineoflife.net/2013/06/23/ancient-egyptian-statue-has-started-moving-sparking-fears-it-has-been-struck-by-a-curse-of-the-pharaohs-10-inch-tall-relic-is-an-offering-to-egyptian-god-osiris-god-of-the-dead-it-has-been-filme/
  8. Thanks Joi, will check it out!
  9. What bothers me the most is that although there was reaction in the crowd to what he(O) said, it seems none of the parents or students openly spoke out against the statement. There still may be some that will, after they stew on it awhile--- who knows, but I pray they will! At least this pastor has!
  10. I will not share it, as it promotes homosexuality. Christians should be standing against this, not supporting it. Shiloh, did you even READ the article? The article does not promote homosexuality. ???
  11. Way to go young man! Thank You Lord for this young person & the many that hold up Your name! http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/trending-now/valedictorian-rips-preapproved-speech-recites-prayer-instead-172941933.html?vp=1
  12. Having daily, hourly, constant fellowship with Him. Laying my heart open before Him, to be searched & cleansed by His Spirit as I confess my faults openly. Reading and meditating the scriptures He has left for our instruction. Offering myself as a vessel of praise and intercession. Offering my heart willingly to love Him beyond anything else! Soaking up the love He freely gives--- even when I miss the mark.
  13. How did this thread get on the topic of wanting to leave? (found that odd) Sevenseas, I love what you said about "living in eternity right now"! I say that a lot. Funny how that phrase has shocked some people that I have witnessed to,, but it usually opens the way for more in depth conversations!
  14. All the things posted are only possibles as signs--- that's why there is a question mark in the title of this thread. I see no need for argument.
  15. But is it ok to post things that are false? The link you posted regarding the geyser in russia was not a geyser at all. Shouldnt we be prudent and post only things that are truly unusual and not from sites that falsely hype routine events? The geyser story was not considered by me to be in the signs we are to watch for or I would have posted it here. As I said at that thread, I found it interesting to see. Sorry that you have read into it more than was intended. The article itself posted that it was a natural geyser, not a pipe that burst. So in that regard it is a false story. I did not read more into it than the article intended. I also do not consider a slide on an arizona freeway to be a sign to watch for, as was posted on this thread. It has happened other times on mountain freeways here after winter storms. The weather does affect roadways in this way but the ADOT said this particular one was caused by a possible geologic event and was not a result of weather. I know the previous link takes you to an updated page at the site, so here is the link to the news report from CBS5AZ.com. http://www.kpho.com/story/21281568/pavement-buckles-closes-us-89-south-of-page?hpt=hp_t3

  17. Thank you Gary. I understand what you have said here. Bless you my brother!
  18. I post these reports to inform of what is happening in the way of signs that we were told to watch for. Jesus, in telling of what to watch for, tells us not to be fearful or terrified at what we see come to pass. He said to look up, our redemption is near when we see all these things happening. He tells us to watch and pray always. There should be no fear in those that have been made alive in Him. Fear is from our enemy and should be dealt with accordingly. Earthquakes have always happened-- "Great" earthquakes are listed in the signs, not earthquakes in general. (Luke 21:11) Gary, your gentle rebuke has been noted, but are we not allowed to report or discuss what we have been told to watch for?
  19. I know, remember a few years back, when there was a major quake, it was reported on the news & talked about-- aid being sent, etc. It seems now that quakes are ignored for the most part by the mainstream media-- this really bothers me & I wonder why this is so. Has it become so "normal" for these big quakes to happen or what? Not only has secular knowledge increased, but God is increasing knowledge of His Word too.
  20. Some very strong earthquakes have occurred in the past few days--- please pray for the people & areas affected. http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2013/04/17/m7-8-earthquake-in-the-iran-pakistan-border-region-april-16-2013-eqecat-report/ http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2013/04/19/very-strong-and-deep-earthquake-m-7-2-struck-kuril-islands/ http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2013/04/19/m-6-0-earthquake-struck-east-of-kuril-islands/ http://thewatchers.adorraeli.com/2013/04/20/extremely-dangerous-m-6-6-earthquake-hit-western-sichuan-china/ http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2013/04/19/earthquake-swarm-continues-under-miyake-volcano-at-japans-izu-islands/ http://theextinctionprotocol.wordpress.com/2013/04/20/earth-shaken-flurry-of-powerful-earthquakes-rattle-eastern-region-of-the-planet/ http://www.iris.edu/dms/seismon.htm
  21. Looked at computer history so I could post the link about Texas explosion site being treated as crime scene--- was FoxNews.com--- but all that comes up now is the updated story about "accident". Can't find the story I read at 4:15 this morning! What a terrible tragedy. Praying for all affected there and their loved ones that can't get there to be with them.
  22. That's 2 explosions today-- Texas, Oklahoma. Oklahoma-- http://www.okcfox.co...vid_10717.shtml Texas is being treated as crime scene.
  23. Thanks Wingnut for adding to the discussion. If I were to advocate for the "woman is the church" position, I would probably suggest that perhaps the 12 apostles, as representatives of the church. If fact, if there were not 12 tribes, I would probably go there, if for know other reason it is one of the 12s in the Bible that jumps into my head. However, the 12 tribes, though it occurred to me, did not strike me as powerful enough that I wanted to include it in my 'argument'. However, it does seem a more natural fit that the 12 apostles. Perhaps someone else might have another option for what that 12 might represent. Gary, thanks for the 'reassessment' of me, although I did not feel in any way attacked or belittled, I still appreciate that you took the time to inform me, that you did come to some kind of wrong conclusion about me or what I said. Not everyone here bothers to do that. Our thoughts come from two places and you can tell where they come from by where they lead us too but in some cases it isn't always apparent. Multiple views expressed over a single passage can lead to confusion so we know who is the author of that. I was offered in thought that the word constellations, which are groupings of stars, is not found in scripture. There are 12 constellations in all that make up the course that the sun travels through throughout the year. The King of these twelve groups of stars is Leo the Lion who is at the head of Virgo the Virgin and Leo then could be considered the 'crown' of the twelve. Take it for what it is worth. The idea that a group of celestial bodies can be referred too as a star but be meaning constellation makes more sense to me especially since I cannot find any use of the term constellation in ancient Greek. The purpose proposed for naming the crown of twelve stars at the head is simply to more accurately define who the Virgin is that is in question if this be the case. No dogma here. Can't say I have any of it 'nailed' down for certain. What I seek to consider is what impact do the thoughts I am being offered have upon my actions? What is it that I will do considering what I have believed? All of the talk about the stellar alignment on October 16th, 2012 combined with all of the other thoughts that point to signs of the end of the age has caused me to ask "What should I be doing?" and in turn answered by Hebrews 10, provoking others unto love and good works, though increasing the frequency of our meetings. For this cause, I have to go as I have an assembly this evening for that very purpose. Peace in Christ. Gary, I think the constellation Virgo is one of the things represented by the woman too. I just think this passage of scripture about her has layers of meaning & not just one. It does seem to be the constellation that was visible at the time of Jesus' birth and I believe it being seen again, with similar alignment of stars or planets with it, signals the time of the "manifestation/revealing of the sons of God" of Romans 8:19. natural-- Mary & birth of Jesus spiritual-- His church & birth of His son(though we be many)
  24. Hmm, Will have to look at it again with these thoughts in mind-- thanks Babbler. After thinking on this-- I will stay with what I think I have seen & continue my studies there.
  25. How did you come up with that? If you gonna tell me it's because Nero was the antichrist--- don't bother. I think he was a type/shadow of the antichrist(that spirit has been around a LONG time), but he doesn't fit for the one that rises to power at THE END OF DAYS.
