  1. It is important to note the winepress of God's wrath (in Revelation 14) - will take place the day Jesus returns to earth. Which the winepress of God's wrath will be because the kings of the earth will have gathered to make war of Jesus. Also, Jesus's wrath will be to avenge the deaths of the great tribulation martyrs. Prior to that, during the great tribulation there will be the seven trumpet plagues on the earth in response to the prayers of the saints who are being persecuted during that time. As the persecution gets worse, there are the seven vials of God's wrath poured out. On my chart, I show the seven trumpet plagues. Then the seven vials of God's wrath. Then the winepress of God's wrath on the kings of the earth and their armies gathered to make war on Jesus.
  2. Diaste, the kjv reads differently for verse 17. 16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
  3. It is not 7 year tribulation in the bible. It is 7 year 70th week. You are trying to justify the term pre-trib. The term is an error. It should be pre-70th week.
  4. The "for seven years" in Daniel 9:27 is not how long the confirmation process is. But instead is the how often, the cycle, that the confirmation of the Mt. Sinai covenant should be done according to the law that Moses made in Deuteronomy 31:9-13. Every 7 years, according to the requirement made by Moses, the leaders of Israel were to address the nation of Israel, from the place of God's choosing, and remind the nation that God gave the children of Israel the land of Israel as theirs for ever. I have discussed with Jews (Judaism) what they consider the place of God's choosing is today in modern times, and they said the temple mount. So from there, the Antichrist, newly anointed king of Israel, will make the big speech - which will begin the 7 year 70th week. Of course that sort of speech has not been done ever since the Muslims took control of the temple mount. But because of the Gog/Magog event, the Muslim presence on the temple mount will be gone, creating an environment whereby the speech can be made. The 7 years in Ezekiel 39:9 are the same 7 years of Daniel 9:27. So timeline wise, the prince that shall come, will be anointed the king of Israel right after Gog/Magog, initiating both the 7 year 70th week, and also a false messianic age - with the world deluded into saying peace and safety of 1Thessalonians5:3.
  5. Jesus was not confirming the Law. A person cannot be saved by the Law. The covenant of God in Christ is based on faith, not works of the law. And by Christ, we receive the Spirit, who perfects us. Galatians 3:5 God had preached the good news, i.e. gospel, of justification by faith to Abraham, by which God would justify the heathen through faith. And because of Abraham's faith in God's promises, also likewise by faith all nations shall be blessed. Galatians 3:8 Paul was preaching in Galatians 3, that they should maintain that their justification before God is based on faith of what Christ did on the cross, becoming a curse for us because of our failure to keep the law. Faith, not by works of the Law, is the basis of Salvation. Jesus confirmed that covenant of Salvation based on faith, in one day, that day He died on the cross for atonement of our sins. It has nothing to do with the seven years in Daniel 9:27.
  6. One day, the day he redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us, the day that he was crucified. Galaatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
  7. Jesus arrived in Jerusalem in John 12-15, as the king of Israel messiah. 4 days later was crucified. Jesus did not spend 7 years confirming the covenant of Daniel 9:27.
  8. The covenant to be confirmed for 7 years is the Mt. Sinai covenant. As required by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:9-13 on a 7 year cycle. The confirmation will be a big speech by the Antichrist, as the new king of Israel, thought to be messiah, following the Gog/Magog event. The big speech will be from the temple mount and will focus on that God gave the land of Israel as the children of Israel as theirs forever. The Antichrist may also announce the rebuilding of the temple at that time. The 7 years are in Ezekiel 39:9.
  9. Hi Retrobyter, Yes, I understand that some Christians interpret Daniel 9:26-27 as you do, at least partially. Other Christians, like me, think that the 7 years are still future, but not distant future, to happen in the parable of the fig tree generation - alive right now. The setting up of the abomination of desolation triggers the great tribulation. 1335 days before Jesus returns, based upon Daniel 12:12, in "the time of the end". The time of the end phrase is used in the kjv bible five times, all in the book of Daniel. I show that on my chart. The great tribulation will happen during the 42 months of the beast-king stage of the person's development. The fifth and final stage. During the great tribulation, the 7 trumpet judgments take place, and also the 7 vials of God's wrath of Revelation 16 take place. Which those have not take place yet.
  10. Back at the time Ezekiel 38-39 was written wood was used for heat and cooking. In modern times, the diesel fuel from the modern military weapons, i.e. tanks, trucks, armored personnel carriers, howitzers - from Gog's army will be burned for heat and cooking. For the first part of the 7 years, in false messianic age condition in Israel, the burning of the diesel will be in a peaceful condition. Then when the abomination of desolation is setup, the fleeing Jews to the mountains of Israel, in the mountains, the diesel fuel will be taken from vehicles there, and also the meals-read-to-eat likely as well. So Gog/Magog, and then the confirmation of the covenant to begin the seven years, corresponding to the 7 years of Ezekiel 39:9.
  11. Hi Marilyn, Islam is a religion. The EU is not a religion. The EU is a union of European nations.
  12. Marilyn, to worship the Mahdi would be counter to fundamental Muslim beliefs. In Muslim eschatology, the Mahdi does not rise from the dead to claim to have achieved God-hood. The religion of Islam will suffer a death blow when the Gog/Magog event takes place, and God defends Israel supernaturally against the muslim invaders. Already, Islamic leaders are concerned about the number of youths leaving Islam.
  13. The person when he becomes the beast-king will be worshiped. Do you think Muslims will worship their Mahdi as having achieved God-hood ?
  14. Dennis, where I think we are on the prophetic time clock is near to the little horn person being revealed who he is - by becoming the leader over a panel of 10 other EU leaders. I think the EU will ultimately become the kingdom of the beast, and will not be broken up until Jesus returns. The future of the UN - I don't know. But it is not a umbrella global government that nations have given up their sovereignty to.
  15. The great tribulation that Jesus referred to in Matthew 24:15-21 begins when the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the prophet is setup in the time of the end. In Daniel 12:12, the abomination of desolation will be setup 1335 days before Jesus returns. 1290 days from when the abomination of desolation is setup is the sign of the Son of man in heaven (Matthew 24:29-30a), which will be the sixth seal event of Revelation 6:12-16. We are living in the "time of the end". But the abomination of desolation has not yet been setup. So the great tribulation has not begun yet.
  16. I added a few notations to the chart. Including the bible references to the "time of the end".
  17. Marilyn, I don't know what you mean by "Gentile" Global leader, nor where you are getting that from. The person who becomes the Antichrist will be a Jew, but in his bloodline he will also be descended from the Julio-Claudians. As the little horn, he will be the 7th king of the Julio-Claudian bloodline to be the leader of the Roman Empire - manifested in the end times as the EU. When he becomes the beast-king, the ten EU kings will hand their kingdom over to him. Revelation 17:17. To be the dictator of the EU. The 8th king of the Julio-Claudian bloodline. Revelation 17:10-11.
  18. Right, the covenant in Deuteronomy 31:9-13 is referring to the Mt Sinai covenant. The Antichrist, as the thought to be messiah by the Jews, will confirm the Mt. Sinai covenant with "many", i.e. the large Jewish population, for 7 years. The confirmation process will be a big speech from the temple mount - that God gave the land of Israel to the children of Israel as theirs forever. ---------------------------------------------------- Second point.... In John 12:12, I agree it was not the elders (the religious leaders) that hailed Jesus as the king of Israel that comes in the name of the Lord. But the verse does show that the messiah (Christ, the greek term for Messiah, John 4:25) is expected to be the king of Israel. And also that even the religious leaders (that opposed Jesus) acknowledged the same, although they said it in mocking manner in Mark 15:32 that the messiah is expected to be the king of Israel. Something that a muslim can never be. Mark 15: 31 Likewise also the chief priests mocking said among themselves with the scribes, He saved others; himself he cannot save. 32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him.
  19. Hi Marilyn, the covenant to be confirmed in Daniel 9:27 is the Mt. Sinai covenant which has the 7 years cycle attached to it by Moses in Deuteronomy 31:9-13. When Jesus came in the name of the Lord, it was acknowledged by his followers as associated with being the king of Israel. John 12: 12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, 13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.
  20. Here is a table I made of all the end times timeframes given in the bible. The 7 years and the 7 months found in Ezekiel 39 that follow the Gog/Magog event are shown on the table.
  21. imo, the diesel fuel in the vehicles. From the content of Daniel 11:36-Daniel 12:13 , which includes the abomination of desolation in Daniel 12:11-12, I don't think after the 1000 years meets the description of how latter years and latter days is used in Ezekiel 38. Also in Ezekiel 39:17-20, after the 7 years, is a feast by the birds and beasts that matches the description in Revelation 19:17-18 at Jesus's Second Coming. In Ezekiel 39:21-29, is Jesus Himself speaking in the text having returned to this earth. In Ezekiel 39:28, is the gathering of the remaining Jews from the nations, the gathering of Matthew 24:31 and Deuteronomy 30:1-6.
  22. In Ezekiel 39:9 there are seven years that follow the Gog/Magog event. Differently, in the Revelation 20 involvement of the Gog and Magog nations, it is followed immediately by the Great White Throne Judgment. Regarding the issue of unwalled villages and dwelling in safety, I do understand your point. imo, I think when compared to the time of Holocaust in WWII, that preceded the mass return of Jews back to the land of Israel, to form the nation of Israel again, they are living in relative safety. In Ezekiel 39:8 and Ezekiel 38:16 are the terms "the latter years" and "the latter days". Similar to what the angel of Daniel 10:14 said concerning what would happen to Daniel's people in the latter days - in the narrative the angel spoke about in Daniel 11 and Daniel 12.
  23. Marilyn, Mark 15:32 Let Christ the King of Israel descend now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And they that were crucified with him reviled him. Do you think a muslim could ever be embraced by the Jews as their King of Israel ? In order to become the Antichrist ?
  24. Hi Marilyn, Where would the labels of 1. the little horn 2. the prince that shall come 3. the Antichrist 4. the man of sin 5. the beast-king fit on your chart ?
  25. I made a few more annotations on the chart.
