No, to your first sentence. The rapture/resurrection is anytime between right this very second and the day when Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation act - which will be before the 1335 days.
-
No. The rapture/resurrection event takes place on an unknown day, but must take place before the Antichrist commits the transgression of desolation act in 2Thessalonians2:4. Those are them of the Jews who turn to Jesus during the great tribulation and are among those in Revelation 20:4 resurrected at the beginning of the millennium. The ones resurrected to reproach and everlasting shame, as related to being part of Israel, are them who refused Jesus during their life times, and will be resurrected for the great white throne judgment, after the millennium is over.

The abomination of desolation setup on the temple mount triggers the beginning of the great tribulation. Daniel 12:1 the worst time in the history of the nation of Israel, and the world as a whole, will be during the great tribulation - lasting from when the abomination of desolation statue image is placed on the temple mount until Jesus Returns, 1335 days later.

Uriah, on your timeline chart, I think you made a mistake in overlaping the 1260 days with the 42 months. because.... The 1260 days are also in Revelation 12:6 - followed by the war in heaven, and Satan being cast down for the Revelation 12:14 time/times/half time left in the 7 years. --------------------------------------------------- Here is a timeline chart I made showing the placement of the 1260 days which corresponds to both Revelation 11:3 and Revelation 12:6.

At that time, the end times, when the willful king (the beast king) is in power Michael with stand up. In Revelation 12, after the 1260 days of the two witnesses in verse 11 feeding Israel the word of God in their prophesying; in Revelation 12:7-9 Michael will stand up, and lead his angels against Satan and his angels in a war in the second heaven. Satan and his angels lose and will be cast down to earth, as their mystery kingdom of Babylon the Great will be fallen, is fallen at that time. The complete destruction of their kingdom is a time, times, half time later when Jesus returns to this earth.

We are living in the end times, which Daniel 11:35 transitions to. Daniel 11:36-44 are end times events. Don't give me a speech about what is under my nose. Read what it says in verse 35. The end times in Daniel 11 are verses 36-44. 35 And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed. 36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
-
Jesus is saying in Matthew 24:15, the great tribulation begins when the abomination of desolation is setup. Jesus referred to the prophet Daniel. In Daniel 12:11-12, the abomination of desolation is addressed, indicating the great tribulation lasts 1335 days.
-
Everything prior Daniel 11:35 is historic. Daniel 11:35 is referring to the church age and transitions to the time of the end. And in Daniel 11:36 it picks up in the end times, and the willful king in that verse is the beast king.
-
The abomination of desolation is not mentioned in Daniel 11:44. Shilohsfoal, you are free-styling.
-
Paul, in 2Thessalonians2:1-4 gave the two things that must take place before the Day of Christ begins. The second thing is the revealing of the man of sin by his audacious act which will anger God. God has him killed for sitting in the temple, in Ezekiel 28:1-10. Daniel 11:32 is historic. And does not reveal the end times man of sin. You need to work on and make a timeline chart of events. Your thoughts and timeline references are coming through as fragmented and confusing.
-
Those verses are historic, not end times. End times do not begin until Daniel 11:36.
-
There is so much wrong with that scenario, I hardly know where to begin. For clarity's sake, why don't you start working on and make a timeline chart of events from the start of the 7 years to the end of the 7 years when Jesus returns. -------------------------------------------- And also, go back, edit your post and put in parenthesis what you mean by the Medes and Babylon, in parenthesis in red. for example, your sentence... Three days after the Medes (Iranians) have attacked Babylon (Jerusalem) and killed the two witnesses, then the king of the north's armed forces (the U.S. military) place the abomination of desolation (??????). Shilohsfold, go back edit your post. And fill in the ?????? Also explain, whatever your answer is for ?????? that will be setup (Daniel 11:11-12) and standing in the holy place as Jesus said in Matthew 24:15.

No, the day of the Lord begins when the Antichrist goes into the temple, sits, claims to have achieved God-hood. The world will be saying "peace and safety" at that time, thinking it has entered the messianic age. Here are the applicable verses. 1Thessalonians5 1 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. 2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. 3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 2Thesslaonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. 3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; 4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

I think that likely the Antichrist will be a prime mover in the rebuilding of the temple. My reason is that the Antichrist is someone who will be anointed the King of Israel - but coming in his own name, i.e. someone the Lord did not send to be their king. There are 7 years in Ezekiel 39 following the destruction of Gog's army. And later in verses 17-20, is the Armageddon event at Jesus's return. The Antichrist's time is during that 7 years. ------------------------------------------ Following God's supernatural destruction of the Russian/muslim alliance called Gog/Magog - the temple mount will be freed up for the Jews to pursue their dream of building the next temple. I don't think there will be a Jewish temple built intended by them to be for the worship of the One True God - until then.
-
No, I believe that the great tribulation begins when the abomination of desolation is placed on the temple mount. The cause of the great tribulation is Satan and his angels attempt to destroy all of mankind. You are trying to put your words into my mouth as something I said - and expect me to defend them? Not going to happen, Shilohsfoal. The timing of Jesus's words regarding the great tribulation is end times, after the gospel of the kingdom for a witness unto all nations has been preached to the nations. Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. 15 When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:) The abomination of desolation will be setup in the end times.
-
The day of the Lord begins in the near future when the Antichrist goes into the temple, sits, claims to have achieved God-hood. The day of the Lord never ends from that point forward. ------------------------------------------- Part of Isaiah's vision - is of the end times forthcoming day of the Lord. ------------------------------------------- Isaiah 13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see. What does the "the burden of Babylon" mean to you ? The burden that Babylon, the physical city itself, has to carry. Or the burden that Babylon, in the spiritual sense, that has placed on all creation, to deal with? ------------------------------------------- Isaiah was looking far into the future to the day of the Lord, end times. And to the near to Isaiah's time, the end of the ancient Babylonian empire. And from then with the defeat of the ancient Babylon empire by the Medes, progress through history the longer term until the eventual abandonment of the city of Babylon to become a waste land as it is today. I don't think the city of Babylon is going to come back to its former glory days The kingdom of the ten kings and the little horn person in Daniel 7:23-24 is the fourth kingdom, the Roman Empire - which has manifested itself in the end times as the EU.

The chapter numbers are man-made for a means of reference to different texts in the bible. The point where one chapter ends and another begins depends on the situation where one topic seems to change to another for a variety of reasons. Say, for example, one vision or dream to the next. So applying isopsephy, the process of adding numbers to get a single number, for the Greek terms for chapter 12 and chapter 13 is as meaningful and useful as astrology.
-
It is not the fear of the statue itself when first setup. It is punishment by death of anyone refusing to worship it - the law that will be enacted by the false prophet. In Daniel 3, there was a similar situation regarding a statue that Nebuchadnezzar had made.
-
The 2Thessalonians2:4 "act" is the "transgression" of desolation of Daniel 8:12-14 and will take place in the temple sanctuary building, the Holy of Holies chamber. The "abomination" of desolation is different. It is something "setup" Daniel 12:11-12. A statue image of the beast king.
-
And part of winning souls, making disciples, and preparing people for the Kingdom (all of which I agree with you totally) is to educate people of what the bible says is coming soon upon the earth - and make people aware of God's way to escape the wrath to come - i.e the rapture.
-
The holy place is the temple mount. The abomination of desolation statue image will be placed on the temple mount, not inside of the temple sanctuary building, because the Jews when they see will know to flee to the mountains.
-
The abomination of desolation makes the temple (to be built) in Jerusalem, on the temple mount, to be desolate from worship of the One True God by the Jews who will be conducting temple related activities - that will suddenly be stopped (by the Antichrist), when the Antichrist has the audacity to claim that he has achieved God-hood. The great tribulation begins then and impacts the entire world.

The end of the seven years is day 2520. The beginning of the seven years is day 1. day 1..................................Aod day 1185..................day 1260.........................................day 2520 2520- 1290 = 1230 So according to you... day 1............................Aod day 1185.....day 1230......day 1260.........................................day 2520 Revelation Man, why can't you do something like I just did above, to communicate what you mean ? And please stop with the "day" "days" omission, confusion factor, like you writing "the 1185". Type in the three letters for day - to read - day 1185. You would get an "F" in English, by your high school English teacher, for your "laziness" in leaving out the word day. In fact "the" and "day" are both three letters on the keyboard. Why do you want to be so obstinate to others, who struggle through to read your posts? What scripture are you taking "BEFORE ALL THESE WONDERS END" from ? You seem to be saying the first of "THESE WONDERS" begins on day 1230 ? What is the first of "THESE WONDERS" ? ----------------------------------- If you are referring to Daniel 12:6, the first of the wonders would be Michael standing up for Daniel's people in Daniel 12:1. However, we do not see that taking place until after the 1260 days in Revelation 12:6 - which Michael and his angels fight against Satan and his angels in Revelation 12:7-9. So your understanding of the 1290 days in Daniel 12:11, begin on day 1230 - is wrong. The 1290 days begin on the AoD Day 1185. Day 1185 + 1290 days = Day 2475. On Day 2475, the sixth seal event takes place, and the sign of the Son of Man appears in heaven - Jesus with sickle in hand. In the 45 days between Day 2475 and Day 2520, the kings of the earth mobilize their armies at Armageddon to prepare to make war on Jesus.

Zechariah 14:11 is not referring to destruction of Jerusalem, but the utter destruction around the world that will have taken place during the great tribulation. And in spite of that utter destruction to places around the world, Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
-
No, it doesn't. Zechariah 14:2 says all nations. 2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. And Jerusalem is not destroyed, but is rescued by Jesus when He returns to the Mt. of Olives in Jerusalem.
