i havent read the reviews but yes kids seem to love. as a vet of war who can easily look at death and not be phased all that much. i find it discussing as i dont like forcing myself to block the normal reactions.

more info? when he talks about the rapture he first mentions the bodily ressurection of our lord then says we will not all sleep and all will rise when he comes. jesus talks about the last day having one ressurection. for the damned to hell and for the christians to eternalife. i like to take jesus at his word.

i agree given the statements by paul

if you take all those millenial verse literally then tell my why the shabat is reininstuted?, why the priests and the third temple is there? why does it also mention horses and so forth be offered to isreal?

I do have to agree with Shiloh's response to this statement - why are you typing with such horrible grammar? It does make it difficult to read and interpret. But to answer the question, a saved Jew is a saved Jew. You are under grace. As for the Torah, it is still the guide it always was - to teach us how to love. Matt. 22 35 One of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, 36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law ?" 37 And He said to him, " 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' 38 "This is the great and foremost commandment. 39 "The second is like it, 'YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.' 40 "On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets." i answer this. Why do you choose not to address my other questions? I'm sorry, but I cannot understand what you are asking. Did we cut the Torah out of your Bible then? What about Psalm 119 - "How I love Your Law"? Should we cut this out of your Bible? If not, why not? Why are these there? 1) whom are the sinners that survive the second advent? 2) so this books of leviticus and numbers and deutermony that describe the way to repent by sin offering comes back? the blood was temporary? if so where and show me and dont ignore jeremiah 31 where it mentions what jesus does .( the law written in the heart) all what of the 613 laws given by moses and not the pharisees http://www.jewfaq.org/613.htm

The first responder was most correct. IT refers to the AD 70 Tribulation. Notice that Israel was the one nation affected, and specifically that portion which was still in apostasy, hence "Jacob" rather than Israel. It is the fulfillment of Deuteronomy 29 (the curse). I see the time of Jacob's trouble as being an end time event. Jeremiah 30:3 speaks of time of restoring Israel & Judah to the land & them possessing it. Then Jer.30:7,8 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it. For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the Lord of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and I will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall mo more serve themselves of him; Exactly right, Jacob's trouble is all about rebuking Israel to bring him back to God, Titus and the event of 70AD didn't accomplish that goal, i have a problem here so all the jews that are like me arent reall jews? so that meanst paul and all them onwards werent jews because we didnt live in isreal. i hope you realise that most jews dont want to move back to isreal in america! isreal is loved by most but not even 1/3 of all jews will live there so show me this mass exodus that will happen. given that verse in john that says this. the time now is that ye shall not worship in this mountain or that mountain.. so we go back to the feast and dont have church?

Tell me why do you spell Israel that way, you being of Jewish decent. on the headstone of jews. israel and jacob are spelled the same and no distincton is made. my grandparents are literally children (fathers name was jacob). of jacob. That make as much sense as saying, Robert and William is spelled the same. its in regard to promise. god called the nation isreal or jacob but when its used this way tis the same word. funny why they do that. that said the name alone isnt the same. when a jew is buried its son or daughter of isreal(jacob).that said its a misspelling why i do that and a bad habit

pastor teaches that bud in matthew 24 on that fig tree is isreal. i havent heard any pretribber deny that fact. if isreal is that bud then when jesus said that with the parable of the fig tree as the start then all the signs are in that context. its commonlty taught as that way. perhaps i have misunderstood all these futurists that are popular. such as van impe, hal lindsey and my pastor and david jermemiah.

LOL, where did you come up with that nonsense?? So what??? And God's work is limited by who knows what tribe they are from??? Where do you get that from? So far, you have not stated any bibilcal reasons for rejecting Israel as a fulfillment of prophecty. I dont see how that is relevant. the later is two show that generation is the same that saw the rise of modern isreal and when they all die out then according to the futurist jesus has to come."this generation shall not see death.." next, is it not called jewish state? which kingdom is was isreal ? the northen ten tribes! so only judah and benjamin has come back so its not all of isreal now is it. that isnt a fulfillment of the two stick prophecy is it. so if isreal is a fullfiment of the prophecies then you have a problem.
-
simple. God has to come before say 2030 or at the latest 2048 as the generation that was alive that saw that bud is that generation that is dying out. and also no jew knows his tribe. its only two of the ten tribes. was isreal then a secular state or a theocracy? in the millenium its a theocracy! do i think god allowed and has a purpose for isreal, of course but only he knows. my grandparents died as devout jews and never accepted the lord, they went to isreal three times. they were born 1917(grandpa) and grandma(1919).they were alive and we have lost family in the shoah. how many holocaust survivors are there alive today?

isreal had a function and mission from God under the torah, and when sin is done away with and the curse of fall what will be the state of the nation of isreal? will there be a torah? answer that and you have my full attention.

i can see that, sadly my dad didnt care for his jewish heritage and didnt inform me of that too much. im sure that my grandmother being a member of haddashah would see that. even though i differ on the modern state in prophecy im for its continued existance as both the us and europe have some poor historuy with the hebrews. thanks for the education. contrary to what the media says about isreal its not so simple for them and for the most part they arent the bad guys.
-
thanks, why am i not suprised that i would come to that with such weak language.

It is a Jewish nation. That is what it was created to be and that is its inherent character. Israel allows freedom of religion, speech to everyone, much the same way we do in the US. It is one of Israel's most attractive qualities. Israel even extends charity to their neighbors that hate them. Israel did not pattern itself after the United States. Even the IDF is not patterned after the US military. i m not saying that. so where the idea of freedom of religion come from,? it wasnt from the eu was it as they got that from us. did the eu allows freedom of religion first and no isreal has some minor restrictions on freedom that i fully understand. one cant street witnees there.one cant also be married by the state there if one is in certian faiths. interesting and i agree on that as they had too, our is based on english and french traditions with our own lessons. im sure we have influenced the idf far more then you say. the ranks are the same just listed in different category for the army terms that is. i would be close a warrant though like in ww2 there was no ssg it was sfc.
-
then what exactly is isreal? a secular state or a jewish one. i know what it is as i have read up on it as isreal a jewish state(ethnic) and allows religious freedom. my grandmother and grandfather are jewish and their tanach has the state of isreal proclamation as a state and brags that freedom of religion is allowed. ancient isreal was not to tolerate idolatry. that said i understand why they went that way as they learned from the us that a theocracy wont work and wanted to start from our example.

So why did you need to proclaim this about yourself in this discussion? It was as if you were supporting your claim by putting forth some special position you have. But let me ask you, how do you regard your brethren in blood, the descendents of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel - the Jews? It was not for the Disciples then to know the future. We however have a past and present we must discern. Matthew 16:3 - "And in the morning, 'There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.' Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times? Is this any less true now, that we need to discern the signs of the times? It is not wise to not be vigilant to towards what the Lord is doing in modern times. When you put this forth as a trump card to anything you have to debate, it is. "God told me thus about myself, therefore I am right" - is how it came across. It is unwise to speculate what they did and did not teach beyond what is recorded. This line of thinking is not the best way to present a case, nor to form theology. yet you all do just that. you change the meanings of the number of the beast without any consideration to whom it was said too. if it was written after the apostleds death then you would have a case. so when the lord when you (the first audience included) see the aod and they all knew what he meant as they had the book of daniel. either these prophecies are specefic or they arent. history shows that matthew 24 when it speaks of the aod and isreal then was literally fulfilled. read josephus' account. on isreal, modern isreal isnt really what god had in mind. a secular goverment with religious courts for islam, jews and orthodox christians., i see the jews of lore as family as they are., does that mean the idea that isreal is the do all be all of gods plan for the earth? No he intends to redeem the earth. The early "church" had not experienced the destruction of Jerusalem and final scattering of the Jews. They had not known that the "church" would persecute Jews in the name of Christ for 2 mellenia.

shall be sanctified in them. Not happening. the vast majority of them are secularist. Yes, but "secular" in Israel doesn't mean "non-religious." It doesn't carry the same meaning as it does here in the states. In Israel, "secular" means that you are not a member of the ultra-Orthodox sect. Most of Israelies are religous, torah-observant Jews. There is a fair amount of nonrelgious Jews, but they are not the majority. The majority of them are Torah-osbervant Jews (secular). so torah(consertive) jews believe in abortion and gay rights? have you actually talked to them and well theres full preterism and partial. learn the difference. the problem i have with the church age and jew thing. is what will the jew when we he is saved? follow the torah or be under grace?
-
im honest enough to admit that i dont have it all. at present i was once like the futurists here and all over but as i read the word and prayed for what it says i dont find support for futurism. that said i dont know it all too. i do think god has plans for isreal but hasnt revealed what it is and in the gospels there no mention of any restoration.

6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel ?" 7 He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority ; 8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth." It looks to me as if they were asking for a time frame, and Jesus replied that knowing when was not of their concern. To regard the restoration of Israel this past century as a fulfillment of prophecy does not violate what Jesus said. I appreciate that, but this does not give you any special authority or prophetic insight or special knowledge or whatever. Your first sentence here comes across as sounding boastful and puffed up. Please be on guard against that. it doesnt but well since you claim that god would call isreal back , it would make sense that he would tell men and women are jews and which tribe they are. or you all dont believe that 144k thing literally? that said if one doesnt know the seasons( time and seasons are two different words) time is when the season is and not knowing the season kinda means they arent meant to. its not puffed up to believe what im told. i see more in the tanach then the nt when i came to the lord. insight was given as that is what i was told, its all verified by many here that know more then me as im not alone. as i said im unable fit jesus in a box. so what would paul, john and others teach to the church then as isreal was still around when they were orall passing matthew around and also the other versions so what would they tell the early church? that isreal was to come back or?

Except here in Canada there is a law that was passed that prevents us from speaking out against homosexual marriage or homosexuality, period, which has made it prosecutable to do so. I expect that one day our computers will somehow be monitored for just such speech. can you post that law on this forum and the cases? i recall that your country passed hate speech and that church has been forced to marry gays but nothing on calling it sin. we broadcast adrain rogers into canada and also others that preach agaisnt gay rights some times.

I feel that we are not long for this world, but will be taken from the world to be with Christ. I sensed this today hearing about the blanket assault of Rush Limbaugh's sponsors. I'd agree with you but I believe that the modern understanding of the rapture isn't doing our Faith any good at all. We ain't going nowhere. We will go through the Fiery Furnace. Persecution is already here in the U.S. Now we get real and we get strong because the Lord sits as a refiner, a purifier. God is not coming back for a harlot and the pusilanimous representation of Christianity that we have in the West. what peresucution? has the goverment in the us killed us yet or downright banned us? no im a soldier in the military , national guard. and even under dont ask dont tell i can call in a chapel service or in private gays in sin. and all others.my rights arent trampled yet.

well then before you berate this contra argument. read what the first chapter of acts states when jesus was asked about the restoration of isreal? he said its not for you to know. so then whey apostles taught matthew 24 and the fig tree what did they teach? isreal's return or judgment. and im of isreal and declared by such by God himself. i was told my pastor to read john when i came to the lord but the lord said no, read genesis as you are jew and this is your roots, your history.like the other poster who isnt a tribber i too learned that it was undefensiable and had to walk away. i learned that i didnt know much and that when i look at revalation i then have to go back to the judaism of the past and learn the torah, and wow. theres a lot on god that i dont know!

Some say so, mostly preterists, but it has yet to happen. let me ask you this? as a jewis race the jews would get isreal back then be forced to leave it again as that is what would happen. when isreal was restored to her land in judges and the other prophets. they repented. so theres an exception. show using proper exegesis that isreal was to be restored by word by the lord in matthew? all i see is judment and woes for not accepting him as lord. theres one exception where to jerusalem he says ye shall not see me again till ye say.. but the words are clear here that we arent to even known when isreal would say it or know it. acts one so then why would it be so clear in writing that they knew if it isreal was to be restored in prophecy yet contradict what jesus said.
