Since the school shootings in Conn. .... it will seed ideas into other kooks heads , such as this other incident. Schools will have to hire security guards into their schools . Sorry but, I would home school my child until, there would be a security guard ....at my childs' school.

Hobby Lobbys' owner is christian, don't know what religion. Companies are forced to follow the government rules...and I am sure many will be voicing their say to the Government. But, I see it this way.. high taxing on companies, and healthcare laws . Where is their profit for their companies ? They will either cut back on employees or will have to close ...due to little to no profit. With the low ecomomy , there is not enough money circulating in the U.S. My opinion..

I have glaucoma bad. If I were to use marijuna for the eye pain.. I would be stoned all the time. It numbs the brain so a person doesn't feel the pain. As I said...It has an intoxification effect on the brain and the body loses its mobility ...feeling weighted down...and time seems to be, slow-motion. Alcohol doesn't have the same effect as pot does on the brain. So...now we have to watch out for ..those under the influence of marijuna and alcohol, driving on the road.

you dont happen to drink coffee or Pepsi do you? coffee, pepsi, or cigarettes ...has no intoxification on the brain or mobility of the body, as alcohol or drugs do, especially when driving a vehicle.

yep...stoned is the right word . Eyes blood shot and wide open . It stones your brain and mobility and time is all in slow motion. Plus if a person drinks alcohol and smokes pot , it intensifies the effect on a person like your body weights a ton.. takes forever to get to where you want to walk to. I don't need drugs or alcohol .... I rather be in my normal straight mind and be on a natural high with life . Thank you Lord !

I think the difference is that you can drink without getting drunk. People drink in moderation and never get drunk all of the time. Wine with dinner, and so on. But people don't smoke pot for nothing to happen. No one engages in it just to have a smoke in the evening. They are smoking to get the high. There is no point to it if you don't get the mind altering effects. My question is how those mind altering effects impair judgeement and reaction time on the road. www.nor this shouldn't be made into an argument about driving when high, because the law still say even though you can smoke it you still can't be driving under the influence. it will be treated the same way that alcohol is. I'm a medical user myself and i can say from personal experience that alcohol is worse for the body than marijuana if you want more information check this out www.norml.org this plant has many medical uses and you can't say that about alcohol. All of that misses the point. The point is that the effect of driving impaired is the same when drunk or high. They both slow your reaction time. If you are driving down a street and someone crosses the street and you just keep going because it takes longer for the message to slow down is received, you end up killing someone. That's the point. It's not an argument about which is healthier or better for you. Both impair judgement and no one smokes recreational MJ not to get high. People with impaired judgment think they are just fine and drive home alright. They end up killing themselves or someone else. What we don't need is one driving drunk and some other guy driving high and innocent people now having to dodge both. You got that right ..Brother Now I wonder how the laws will be for driving under the influence of marijuana ? The same as those drunken drivers ? Some are still in jail with 3 DWI's.

WN : posted this topic. This is a man made law that went into effect....for those who smoke marijuana, the legalization of marijuana. We are discussing the effects of marijuana on the brain and the mobility of the body. Especially those who get on the highway and get behind the wheel of a vehicle under the influence of such a drug. Before I was saved many years ago. I tried marijuna with my ex. This is what it did to me as a woman...my experience . When we were in the car going to the theather ... it seemed the car and things around me was moving in slow-motion. Seemed it took forever to get to the theather. It seemed I was talking so slow and forget what I wanted to say and then giggling. Then the next time I smoked pot ... I started to hallucinate...I thought someone was after to kill me. When It wore off of me.. I said , I would never touch it again. And I didn't . A good thing I was not behind the wheel of a car driving. Marijuana numbs the brain. Puts you in a different state of mind of slowness and forgetfulness. Marijuana can be dangerous , especially driving a vehicle ...to the person and others...traveling on the highway. Drivers beware of those under the influence of Marijuana. It has a worst effect on the brain , than alcohol.

That is so terrible... and to think using the chemical warfare on their own people. It is the terrorist over there in their country that are doing that....it was said, on tonights' news.

But don't you know, you are being "intolerant" if you don't agree with them and their choices! And yes, dennys here in wa is the local pot head hangout too. Just as long as they don't blow their smoke in my face. I know what you mean... and now we have to put up with the pot heads on the streets...like grocery stores , etc. What else ?
