What is your 3 biggest spiritual convictions? My 3 spiritual convictions: Put God first through daily prayer, and reading the word. Keep God as my first love. Being a woman after God's own heart. What are yours?

Sometimes it feels l like I have emotional scares that can never heal.

I have so many hurts from the past. Like most people I have been hurt by so many people. Some were family, so-called friends, co-workers, relationships/interest that didn't work out. So many times I have been lied to, used, and taken advantage of. I want to heal, but I am having a hard time. What is the best way for me to heal? Please help!

Unforgiveness and sometimes unconfessed sin.

For the most part I read from the NIV, and sometimes NLT.

Today is my 39th birthday! I am celebrating one more year of God's grace. Amen!

Someone mentioned earlier that Fred could be lost and don't even know he is lost. I know I have shared with him the need to know God. But I now pray that the Lord will allow whatever situation to place to show him the need for God. I always ask the Lord to show him better than I was ever able to tell him or show him.

This an area of my life that I ma being truely tested on. As some of you all may know, I was recently laid-off my job. Which might have been a blessing in disquise. Due to all the stress that took place at my school. However, there is still a test that I am facing. Which I have grown to humbly accept. That test is showing contentment for what I ready have without looking for more. Knowing that the Lord will provide at the right time. Durung the last 4 weeks I have lerned that contentment is a gift from God and grows out of having God's perspective on life. Philippians 4:13- "I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me strength." How is it going for you in the area of contentment?

Thank you all for your spiritual insight. Many of you all have confirmed what I have learned to be true about God. Sometimes I tend to have that itellectual believe, however, I somtimes tend to struggle to believe it in my heart. I think satan has me decieved into thinking it's something more to this.

Why is it that the more I pray for situations sometimes the situation gets worse? There are so many things that I pray for and the more I pray the situation the worse off the situation gets. I give you one example: I have been praying for my friend Fred to get saved. It seems like the more I pray for him the worse off he gets. The more I pray for him to make wise choices, the worse off his choices gets. There's is saying, that says, "Prayer Changes." What's with that? Can anyone help me to understand?

We have a steak and shake further south of where I live but have never been there. I hope to try it one day.

Wow, Bopeep, it would be awesome if people can say that they could see Christ in all of us who profess to be believers. It shows that our lives as Christians was not in vain.

There are so many things that I would like to do before I die. We can go on and on. I just choose to focus on the top 3. But anyone can think of more than 3, feel free to share.
