  1. Took it out Wednesday. No issue as I know of. Didn't go anywhere on Thursday. Then went to go somewhere on Friday and it was dead. No lights, no sound just dead. I check to see if anything got left on like my lights. No nothing I see that has been left on. It is not cold out so that shouldn't be the issue. I have a love hate relationship with my Jeep.
  2. Got the jeep on a battery charger. Got lights to come on but won't start after 10 minute charge. Going to let it charge for hr. see what happens then.
  3. Thank you for your input. The repair shop is own by my husband's uncle. He seems willing to do stuff and all I have to do is pay for the parts. Though I do need to wait till he takes care of his paying customers first. That seems only right to me so I'm good with that. I have AAA which should cover the tow or jump. Prayer is always welcome as I become very stressed out over auto issues.
  4. If anyone knows anything about autos maybe you can help. The battery in my Jeep is only a year old. Went to start it and nothing. No start, no lights, just nothing. Nothing was left on and it was acting fine before. Battery cables are tight and the alternator belt is good. Right now I am working out how is the best way to get to to the repair shop.
  5. So.......? What do you want me to say here. That the church is the only one that can interpret the Bible? Even among the churches Bible interpretations differ. This is why I say it is always best to talk to God about such things.
  6. Well I don't know what is going on in other churches. But we have women doing all sort of things in my church. No one has ever left because they didn't have anything to do.
  7. Oh he is just posting it until he gets everyone to agree to the same answer. Well good luck with that I say.
  8. I don't think it is so much people not being obedient to the Bible. But people have a different interpretation as to the meaning of the passage of scripture. Anyway, I've gone over all of this is past postings on this topic. I don't have the energy to do it all over again.
  9. This is a made up story with made up people. I know many people including myself who do things in the church that are not in the spotlight. I am money counter in my church. As for becoming a pastor. This is something that God leads one too. Not just something someone does because they are bored and what something to do in church. Women are not setting around church going "gee I'm bored I wonder what job I could do in the church? Oh I know, I will be a pastor!" No it does not work that way. All the people men and women both that I have know who have become pastor tell how they were called to do so. They tell how it was something they really did not want to do, but felt God calling them to do so. They tell how they tried to ignore the call and do their own thing. But God kept calling them and opening doors for it to happen to the point where it was made clear to them that this is what God was calling them to do. So no one, not men or women sit around and think I'm bored with church I think I will become a pastor.
  10. Can we Please Stop with the Women Pastor topics! How many post do we need on this subject? My views on it has not changed and I am sure no one else's view have neither! Enough already!
  11. Not lust. Just you know.....thinking someone is nice to look at. An attraction. I just don't think we are to shame one another for thinking that someone looks attractive. Like flowers or a sunny day. Well I'm going to go make popcorn and watch a movie I hope you all work this out. I will check back later.
  12. Yes I think I can agree with that also. A swim suit would be out of place at a fancy dinner.
  13. Well I was replying to someone else's comment this whole thing isn't just about what you are saying.
  14. I don't think there is anything wrong with having desires for the opposite sex. I mean that is how God intended us to be. Just as long you don't go too far with your desires. If you know what I mean?
  15. For the record I do not think either one is filth. The Human body is one of God's beautiful creations and he did not create filth. But I do think that everyone should try to wear a shirt to church.
  16. Well now you are putting words into my mouth.
  17. Well from what I have seen. I have known people who attend church service after church service and nothing changes in their lives. And within that same service people all around them are getting saved and learning how to live a Christian life. I don't think it is always the church's fault. Some people just flat out say "NO" to God.
  18. Sorry to say but no. I do go to the renaissance festival though. You can see lots of men in kilts there! WooT LOL
  19. Here you go: https://modli.co/swimwear.html
  20. Thank you ! You are a wonderful person. God Bless!
  21. Okay I think I can cover a few things here bass on me being who I am on how I would be in a case like this:(For this story I will play the girl) First off the statement of You know our standards: Well as for me. I would not be attending a church that has a standard of dress. So the first time the pastor or deacon comes up to me an tells me my clothing is not of their church's standards, I would find a new church to attend. Because a church having a dress code goes against everything I believe. Next is if I know that the church has a standard of dress: If I choice to become a member of a church, then I must do my very best to follow all the rules of that church, regardless if I agree with them or not. But I guess if I don't agree with all the rules of the church then I best not become a member. I do not think that this would apply to someone who is not a member of the church. But if the leadership of the church makes a rule that all who attend members or non-members must follow a dress code rule, then if you are going to attend such a church you better be following the rule. I don't know if they toss someone out for braking such a rule or how they go about enforcing it, maybe you're not allowed to teach Sunday School or something like that I don't know. But whatever the church rules are you should follow them. So going by the picture it would depend on rather or not the girl is a member or not. Also if the girl is a teenager, the church leader should talk to the girl's parents and not the teenager. If she attends alone well I don't know it is all very complicated. Next if it was a lady and not a leader of in church would say this to me about my clothing: Well I think I would be very offended! And I would ignore what she said. End of story goodbye and all of that ! If it was a man who said that my clothing made him think bad thoughts: Well I would tell him shame on him because I am a married women and he should not be having such thoughts about me! Get control of yourself man! But if we were say good friends and he said this to me I might consider what I am wearing and change into to something else if it was really bothering him. The key word being consider here as I would use my own judgment in deciding rather or not I needed to change. If he says this and all I am wearing is a t-shirt and blue jeans well I am not going to be changing. But if I am wearing a very very short dress( by the way I would never wear) then maybe. Okay I think I cover it all for you from my own thoughts on the matter. Maybe not anyone else's thoughts but mine. Enjoy!
  22. I don't get any of this. You all must go to a church that is way different then mine. As I have never seen anything like this ever happen. We just welcome everyone in and tell them we are glad they are here. Has this really gone on in your church? If so who is it in your church that decide how short is too short or whatever?
