  1. 1. What was that light? What was its source? God was the light. 2. How did that light create evening? The Earth began to rotate. It's a theory.
  2. You put evolutionists in quotations. Are you attempting to seperate believers from scientists? I consider you an evolutionist because you argue for the faith whether you have an advanced degree or not. Besides that, I am talking about random youtube comments that are made on a daily basis. Anyone accusing a creationist of fraud in an attempt to validate evolution is an evolutionist. Discrediting a Christian does not prove evolution. If you do not watch creationist videos, you probably haven't seen the comments, but I have and they are there for anyone to see. If you are unwilling to go look at the comments, so be it.
  3. If you are too lazy to go use the google search engine, it's hard help you out. Are you suggesting evolutionists never visit creationist videos for the soul purpose of accusing the creationist of fraud? If that is the case you are a very dishonest person, though I suspect that already. A short list of Christians/Creationists that have been accused of fraud by random evolutionists. Ray Comfort Kirk Cameron Kent Hovind Lee Stroble Eric Hovind Mike Riddle Ken Ham There is another I do not particularly care for, calls himself venomfangx. He was accused of fraud, though I think it was more of a misunderstanding. Either way, I don't care for his videos. Of those few, none are frauds. Yet people like you seem to point fingers at them as if that somehow proves your religion to be true. I guess in the history of the world no evolutionist ever cheated his taxes or ever did anything dishonest for that matter, correct?
  4. Can you please provide a citation where any "evolutionist" argues "God must not be real because Kent Hovind doesn't pay his taxes"? Watch any youtube video about creation. Then scroll down and view any number of useless comments about the fraudulant behaviour of Christians.
  5. Are you basing your entire faith in evolution on the fact that evolutionist journals don't publish the work of creationists? Try reading a creationist journal, trust me, they don't publish work by evoutionists. It's sort of expected. You keep mentioning the "scientific community". You are aware that there are many scientists that believe in a creator/ID right? Dr. Jason Lisle is an astrophysicist. He graduated from the University of Colorado. He is a member of the "scientific community". *** Removed video. Videos are to be in the Video Forum only. ***
  6. Absolutely. Even modern primitive cultures that have had no contact with missionaries express an awareness of a being greater than themselves. And they attempt to worship that being. Humans are hardwired to worship something, anything. Right. And it's never been hard for me, personally, to understand that. He wants us to know Him. Indeed. It is the same for me.
  7. I wonder how they would ever reach absolute truth while limiting their thinking in such a child like manner.
  8. I think that you can make people begin to questions the assumptions that they were indoctrinated by the theory of evolution. But it is very hard and rare. Many do indeed see it own their own when they actually look at the DNA code and the impossible odds. Sometimes just the seed of doubt is planted. In the end the preaching of the cross is the only way to change a hard heart. Many after salavtion will chnage their mind about evolution and old ages but it is the Holy Spirit which teaches them the truth. 2 Timothy 2:25-26 25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; 26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. Hey Mark, I know your right, man. I just get the feeling some people will never be saved. I can "sense" it. It's like they hate Christians and they just want to argue to get you doubting. My faith is unshakable. I don't even call it faith anymore. I know for a fact there is a God. I know it as sure as I sit here. Nothing can shake my faith. Nothing. I just can't help but throw my hands up and say, let it be.
  9. In case you were wondering, The reason I quit arguing with evolutionists is because they always have a rescuing device. It's pointless. I used to think I could lead people to the Lord by gently sharing my personal experience and showing them the testimony of converted scientists, but they always find a flight square. You will more than likely say this guy is stupid or a fraud. I have seen it a thousand times. A different guy, another scientist was converted when his research in microbiology convinced him that evolution just wasn't possible. I used to show it to people and they would slander him and they would be very cruel. I just gave up. After you respond I will ask you a question.
  10. Okay. Sorry for the delayed response. I have not searched for "evidence" in a long time. I quit arguing with evolutionists a long time ago. Here is a link to a vid that you are possibly familiar with. This guy is pretty good about explaining things and there are many more scientists just like him. *** Removed embedded video. Video's need to be posted in the Video forum first, then you can link to them in another post. *** Don't worry, if he starts to make you feel uncomfortable, you can call him a fraud or claim he is stupid. That's what all the other evolutionists do.
  11. Too bad God isn't posting in this forum. If you have "overwhelming evidence" against evolution, then by all means share. Obviously at this point the scientific community isn't aware of it, and such a thing would be historically important, so please don't keep it to yourself. Sorry, Gerald. Not this time. I googled it, I found it first and that makes it mine to keep.
  12. The Jews are the most glaring of all. They never denied that the body was missing. They accused the disciples of stealing it! Empty tomb? You bet. And how about 2000 years of Christian history? Seems to me, a false religion would have died by now. Besides we have the testimony of the disciples. They were scared, scattered and defeated when their master was executed. Then, all of a sudden they transformed into tireless zealots, preaching the good news even to the point of death. Never recanting? I'm sold. I like Jesus for the resurrection. I say it happened. Check a book called 'Many infallible proofs'. Awesome stuff and a lot more on this topic.
  13. I will hold off a little while with the name of who wrote this, but will tell you all soon enough. My opinion of the quote? That is tuff. As Gerald pointed out, this man is an evolutionist. I detest evolution, though the quote is quite intelligent. Common sense leads us to understand that there must be a creator, but I guess I am hardwired that way. Others are hardwired the other way. And still, there are those that say, "who knows?"
  14. I love your posts Fresno. God knows how to win a debate, that is for sure. I think a better question to ask, Gerald, is why does Collins believe in evolution when we have overwhelming evidence to the contrary?
  15. Little off topic, James did not believe his brother was the messiah until after the resurrection...his conversion is a powerful testimony to the truth about Jesus.
  16. Well, sir On the lighter side...You have Ancient Aliens, UFO Hunters, Ghost Hunters International, Viper Paranormal, and T.A.P.S to prove that demons exist. You also have many cases of demonic possession to choose from. Just google 'demonic possession'. There are many recorded cases that are quite convincing. Also, google miracles, many cool stories and recorded events that can only be explained by devine intervention. Check out some of the stories from the show 'Beyond Belief: fact or fiction". Check that out. Some amazing cases. This can be a research project for you on the side, just to gather information. You have to sort through a lot of it though, seperate the wheat...know what I mean? A lot of it is hocus pocus designed to entertain, but hey, when people laugh more they learn more. And to get serious... There is a mountain of scientific data to confirm the Genesis account and a young earth. You can check ICR (Institute for Creation Research), AIG (Answers in Genesis) or Creation Today. The evidence in favor of Jesus being the creator of the universe is absolutely overwhelming. If you can't convince someone with the sources I've listed then they are willingly ignorant and you have done all you can do. Look up Dr. Jason Lisle, Mike Riddle, Ken Ham...etc. There are many books on this type of thing. Check out a book by Henry Morris called 'Many infallible proofs'. That one is awesome! If that don't work... Kick the dust off your feet and leave them to their fate.
  17. Everything will be fine. I was absolutely crushed when my first wife divorced me. I didn't think life could get any worse. My ex wife never believed in God and she is still an athiest today. God removed her from my life and set me up with a much better partner. My wife loves the Lord, she loves me and she is a lot better looking than my first wife. Lol. It's true and it don't hurt a bit. I love her very much and I am very happy now. God is good and everything He does is for a reason. It might seem bad now, but someday you will look back and you will know exactly why He did what He did. And you will thank Him for it.
