Halleluyah kwik. Well to put it clear, Islam could be seen as either the moon or the second lamb-like beast of Revelation. The two horns of the lamb could be the Shia and the Sunni, the two main branches of Islam. Religious Rome could also play the role as the 2nd beast.

What I mean is that people may expect the rapture to take place at any time but they are still confined to the world.

I am positive that Matthew chapter 24 verse 29 is talking about a literal Sun being darkened and a literal Moon not giving it's light. I'm sure this is the same event as Rev. 6:12. As for the stars falling from Heaven I'm not sure. Could be all the Holy Angels coming down to gather us up from the four corners of the earth. 31 "And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other." This might look strange to the bad guys. I wonder what billions of Holy Angels would look like zooming down from the sky to pick us up. I don't think Islam is going to have anything to do with this. The bible also contains prophecies of future false religions and may not be centered on God's people alone. It can also predict the coming of false prophets and religions.

Those who expect it to take place this year are not even ready for sure.

Well the false Christ spoken of may be a counterfeit Christ from a gentile nation.

The image of the beast, to me could be seen as both literal and symbolical. Literal in the sense that it will be a sacrilegious object that will be made to stand in the holy temple. The image may be a computerised machine that has been made and programmed to kill those who will not serve the antichrist. In its symbolic sense, it may be the Roman Catholic Church which has been given a breath of life by the lamb-like beast (Religious Rome) with the two horns (The Papacy and the Vatican). Are we to expect a Papal Antichrist or an E.U antichrist or half Papal and half E.U antichrist? I need your views please.

I believe that the second beast is Religious Rome and the two horns are the Papacy and the Vatican. they are the central government of the Roman Catholic Church.

well i also see prophecies as literal. the propheet Nahum in chapter 2 or so of his book made mention of chariots being with flaming torches in the future or so. I believe that this refers to automobiles or cars with flashy headlights.

Not all prophecies in the bible are symbolic. For example The war of Gog and Magog and a gathering of a faithful remnant of Israelites. These are literal to me.

Wow! Revelation could be seen literally and symbolically. Well to me, looking at world events, we have gone through the seven seals and up to part of the 6th trumpet sound except the part of the two witnesses which remains obscure to me. Are the two witnesses the Protestant and Orthodox churches? Well as for the 7th trumpet, no one knows when it will begin to sound.
