  1. Simple. The planned, total implosion of the American economy. And when everything is in ashes, the socialists already have a plan--and a man--to swoop in and "save the day." The only problem is, Obama and his charming henchmen don't have the chops to fix what's about to happen. The rot goes too far and too deep. I agree. It has Agenda 21 written all over it. As do I.
  2. Welcome to Worthy! And since I am not married, I do believe Jadey has put out very good ideas, but like I said, what do I know lol
  3. Thank you Hopeful and Joe, I enjoyed writing it Praise the LORD And Joe, I love your signarture, especially this part! "When I get on my high horse, I usually find Jesus rides off on his donkey"
  4. No thoughts? Just going to beat poor worshiper with your pan lol
  5. Great Question Brother! But I don't think so, the verse that come to mind is this one. Luke 6:29 "If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic." (IMO) Isaiah is not only referencing Jesus Christ, but saying he is going to do as Jesus did and be humble.
  6. There are so many words in the bible that are not only powerful, but can alter and completely change a person's life if the let God. Amoung those words, one of them that I want to focus on is "but God." Your probably scratching your head about now, but read through, and see if it helps any Romans 8:31 "What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us?" My main focus here is that even though your struggling, NOTHING, will overtake and overcome you. For we have a loving and caring GOD, whom is much larger than anything the world can regurgitate and put upon us. Acts 3:14-19 "But you denied the Holy One and the Just, and asked for a murderer to be granted to you, and killed the Prince of life, whom God raised from the dead, of which we are witnesses. And His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes the faith which comes through Im has given him this perfect coundness in the presence of you all. Yet now, bretheren, I know that you did it in ignorance, as you did also your rulers. But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord." The very same forgiveness we can recieve, the same cry is for us. We mess us, we independantly pinned Christ to the cross. And he bore these things out of love, to reunite us with Him, so that we may be heirs of the Kingdom! There truly is NO pit too deep that God's grace, love, and mercy, does not run deeper. We see our brokeness and think LORD, what have I done, I don't deserve this, I don't deserve you. . . BUT WAIT! The LORD still calls you, think back to the prodigal son in Luke 15, and how the son was ungreatful, sinned against Heaven and his earthly dad. But despite this, the father rejoiced more over his son returning, rather than cursing him, he was thankful! For he knew that the LORD had restored him, that redemption won, that God had mended his heart that was frail and filled with greed. So shall it be in Heaven, when one of God's creation returns to Him and becomes a child of God. Heaven will rejoice, and throw the biggest party! ~Again, there is no pit that is too deep that God's love does not run deeper~ No matter where you are, he longs for you, and when you return, He is Joyful, He does not wish to question you, interigate you, question you. . .but He welcomes you in loving, compassionate arms, longing for your return. Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool." Psalm 49:15 "But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave, For He shall receive me." If your backslidden, beating yourself up because you believe the voice telling you that your not good enough, stop. . .and listen. . .Take God at HIS word, and believe. Because the blood of Christ cries out and procalims you, over anything that tells you otherwise. You are made new, by the blood of Christ you are forgiven. Not by what you have done, or what we can do, but because of His grace, none can boast for this is truly by the mercy and love of God! Psalm 86:5 "For You, LORD, are good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in mercy to all those who call upon You." Not to some, not to just your neighbor, or the person who is a bit "better" than you, but ALL who call upon HIS name, are made new! Jehovah Rophe, the Lord healeth! No longer be torn in two by the grace of God and the memories of your past. God has blotted out your past, and your literally made a new creation and washed by the blood of Christ, if He can forgive you, why can't you learn to forgive yourself? Ephesians 2 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others. 4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6 and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. 11 Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12 that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15 having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16 and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17 And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18 For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father. 19 Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, 20 having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, 21 in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, 22 in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. Another lesson I think that needs to be focused on is those in need, the ones that need healing, weather it be emotional, physical, financial. . . whatever the case may be. God has this mapped out and planned for you. God is faithful, ALWAYS. We only get a snapshot of the bigger picture and fixate ourselves on this. God has a grand plan for our lives, keep your eyes on Him and trust, nothing compares to the Glory we have in Heaven. We suffer for Christ sake, and we tend to believe and tell ourselves this is because of our past, our sin . . but this is life brothers and sisters! We are foretold of tribulations! Christ promised us a peace of MIND in Him, and that He will comfort us in them! Not that we will have an untempted life! For trials produce strength, and our faithfulness grows as we are put under trial and acknowledge God, and know that His faithfulness for his children is beyond compare! Hold onto the Hope and the promises He brings, our glory and blessings will be full in Heaven, there will be a day when the burdens of this place will be no more, but until that day lets be courageous, acknowledge the LORD and take on our giants in the Name of the LORD as David did! Please the LORD, have faith and trust in Him! Hebrews 11:6. "Without faith it is impossible to please God." Though we cannot make sense of why He heals some, and not others, it is not for us to question. GOD has a grand plan for each of us, and we are live this to the fullest. Coming upon tribulations does not make you a failure, falling down and not getting up does, So I say trust, trust in the LORD!!!
  7. lol- -Yes it would be. Also sounds to me that (if it is made up) someone has a lot of time on their hands. The thought itself seems well thought out. . .
  8. So did I this was me ----------->
  9. LOL-Pat, you make a good point there. . . "Plundering" is morally correct? Interesting. . . but posting content about them is far from just. . . . God bless you love to you in Him.
  10. Interesting thoughts Tinky. I started a thread similar to this, and I wish you would have responded LOL, But anywho, great job and great thoughts! God bless you Love to you in Him.
  11. For some reason, this does not suprise me.
  12. It's a good question, and I guess the answer depends on your personal observation to a degree. I know many wealth Christians, some in my church, who distributive their wealth in a myriad of ways, from the orphanage we run here to helping the less wealthy in our own church, to sending people who need it on holiday, and paying for doctors bills. And a lot of other stff, some they probably don't talk about. God made Job, David, Solomon, Lydia, and a good few others rich. (not all good examples perhaps, but Davids story is amazing) I agree Fez. Being rich does not mean a strive for money. But hoarding it, can be a problem. As long as your eyes are set first on the Kingdom of God, and helping others I see no reason as to why it would be a problem. A good example of this is the rich man in the parable Christ talks about. It was not that this man was rich that was the problem, it was his greed. God bless you, Love to you in Him.
  13. What is (are) God’s purpose(s) in allowing suffering? First regarding suffering the good news is that our suffering in this life is only for a short time when we look at the rest of eternity. (1 Pet. 5:10) For God’s Glory: Job is the ultimate story of suffering besides that of Christ. Job lost everything including his children, riches, standing in society. And the incredible aspect of Job’s story is that he did nothing wrong and yet suffered. Yet God’s purpose was to glorify His name in Job. The pain and suffering Job experienced allowed God to share with Job who He was and what He was about. Chastisement by God: Sometimes people suffer because His children whom God loves He chastises and rebukes for the purpose of repentance. (Heb. 12:6-8, Rev. 3:19) The purpose is as well for cleansing of our lives of unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9) For the Lord Jesus Christ & Furthering of the Gospel: Jesus healed a man named Lazarus and yet he explained that the man had the sickness for the glory of God. (John 11:2-4) Later it is understood that some who saw this and other miracles believed in Jesus. (John 11:45) Some in particular believed because of Jesus healing Lazarus. (John 12:11) God was in complete control and had a purpose in allowing the sickness. The story of Jim Elliott comes to mind. Jim was a missionary to natives who never heard the Gospel. They ended up killing Jim. Yet, years later many came to believe and trust in Jesus Christ. We are told that those who are in Jesus Christ will suffer persecution. (2 Tim 3:12) Jesus Himself promised suffering that if anyone would come after Him they were to deny themselves, take up their cross daily, and follow in His footsteps. (Luke 9:23) God’s Instruction and Teaching in Suffering: God is at war with Satan waging the battles for the souls on men. As soldiers of Jesus Christ we’re to endure hardness at times. (2 Tim. 2:3) One of the fruits of the spirit is longsuffering. (Gal. 5:22) Sometimes I wonder if we as Christians gloss over that one when reading the others? David himself, the man after God’s own heart, said that perhaps it is for good that bad things happened to him so he might learn God’s ways. (Ps. 119:71) The of course there is the fact that all things work for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purposes. (Rom. 8:28) And yet we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. (Phil. 4:13) Often God doesn’t want to change our circumstances but He wants to change our hearts. Contrasting This World and Life What is to Come: In Revelation 21:4 we’re told in the Bible there will be a time where there will be no more tears and death will be no more. There won’t be mourning, crying, or any pain any longer as God creates the New Heaven and New Earth. So perhaps in this life there is suffering to contrast with what is to come? Conclusion: If God were to remove all suffering then He would also remove the ability of men to make decisions for good or evil. It would almost be like nullifying the free will that allowed Adam/Eve to choose to sin in the Garden of Eden. Through one man sin entered the world and through One Son of Man God provided a way (John14:6) for the creation of God to become children of God (John 1:12, 1 John3:1). God doesn’t desire mindless servants or a form of robots. God desires a relationship with His creation. God desires to adopt us into His family and become co-heirs with Christ. (Rom. 8:17) God uses the suffering of the world as a result of sin to accomplish His purposes. Thoughts anyone? In Christ, GE This is my only thought ---->
  14. Amen Sister, God is good! Jehovah Johi (Lord my Shephard) God will always provide! Amen, and Amen! Always remember that day, TRUST, is key God bless you, love to you in Him!
  15. I don't know of any implications from scripture, so this would just be an assesment unless someone does have a scripture to go along with their voice. As of right now, I just find it "odd" but am of course going to keep my eyes out for what is going on. Strange, without a doubt. Judgement, not going to say no, just not sure. Thoughts? God bless you Love to you in Him
  16. Oh WOW! I didn't know about these at all, I thought the one in Russia was the only on. . .very interesting, thank you for sharing !!!!!!
  17. Hello Jacob, Why do you think the thread has declined ? It just seemed to me that people were more of picking at the thread rather than helping. . Oh and one more thing Fez, teach them etiquett. . . I see women opening doors for others (including their parteners) more times than the man.
  18. Wow- This thread quickly declined LOL I would suggest also, to what you have already provided, fishing. Too many people have not picked up a fishing pole in their lives lol
  19. lol -What would it be that God is trying to telll us?
  20. I think there are many other things to consider as well, there is Gods will for our lives, our own free-will, and what Satan tries to lay out before us. I am not so sure that it is due to sin that causes our tribulation. Christ proclaims we will have tribulation in the world, and not not indicate it is because of our individual sin. So I think that is an assesment rather than a complete truth. Taking this a bit further, people also have their own free-will, and often deal others a pretty horrible hand, was it our sin that caused this? Or could this just be life? None the less God takes care of us so there is nothing to be affraid of. God bless you Love to you in Him/
  21. Jesus is everyone? Could you help me out and explain? I can't say what xero was thinking but this is what came to mind for me when I read his post. Matthew 25 45 Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ Thank you for your response 'man,' this verse also came to mind. But I just wanted clarification as to what he was meaning, just came across as we make up Christ. God bless you, Love to you in Him.
  22. Amen Brother! To me, that is one of the most important qualities to realize because after you realize that, all things follow, love, compassion, empathy etc.
  23. Jesus is everyone? Could you help me out and explain?
  24. Amen Brother! I love this song, has held me together through so many rough times in my life, even when things are well I still feel that same spirit of Peace and might upon me. God is good and fatihful, amen and amen!
  25. lol
