I also fully believe that the big bang started the universe about 13.7 billion years ago, and that the earth is formed about 5 billion years ago. Never have i believe just a second that earth started with adam and eve. maybe because they told this at school to me as a fairy tale... I agree with j102 about the bible. If creationism is true, we are the result pure incest.

I might have explained it wrong. He hasn't changed really changed in any way since i know him, wich is from about 5 yo, and now he is declared gay. i cannot execly explain how he acts, but believe me, he has always been gay. And he has not been abused or something like that. Nor is he possesed by a demon. Nor is it his choice to be gay.

i think some are born gay and some are not. but some deffinatly are. i have a friend who is gay, and he was already doing different and always sitting with the girls when he was 5 years old. tigger398: the fact that you cannot win from her in a debate, might be because she is right on certain points. and being gay is not against christianity: only homosexual actions are, as well as gay marriage.

i cannot think of a way that this would possibly influence theology. It's just a new state of matter, nothing more. Most of the time scientific inventions have totally no impact on theology.

Satanism nowadays, especially Laveyan, is actually more humanism and hedonism combined. Most of them don't believe in satan. I for exemple have a satanic friend, but she doesn't believes in satan himself. She just agrees with the general ideas of living of satanism.

I can perfectly understand that people doubt about evolution or the big bang, but climate change? I mean, there is sooo much evidence about that, and it is not even a matter of faith. Like when i went wandering with my father in switserland in the mountains, he said: 'when i was young, this mountain was a gletsjer, it was full of ice. now it has become a green grassy mountain without any ice. it has all melted.'

The gravity of the earth is waaaaaaaaay to small to slow time for a big amount. Because of the earth we only have some microseconds more a day, wich cannot make those about 10 billion years Even if you come very very close to a black hole you cannot slow time that much. Only inside the black hole itself time might have stopped, but this is still theoretical. Also the gravity of some stars or other stuff won't slow the fotons (not even a little) on their way to us. Gravity is the weakest force you know. You can hold a pen high with one finger while the hole mass of the earth pulls at it.

but, everyone before the birth of Jesus could not possibly folow Him of course. So they all were automaticly doomed to go to hell, for not folowing someone who has not been born yet? The Jewish belief for exemple already existed before Jesus' birth, so it is not newly created. And everyone who ever lived before Jesus has gone to hell? This just crossed my mind...
