Oak wood: You are leaving me only the option to believe you or to believe people I served with in a war zone and have known for 25 years. This is not a hard choice at all. These are good people who have no desire to take over the country or kill all infidels. They just want to live the American dream like the rest of us here. They want their kids to be safe and happy. They want to be able to go to Wild Wings and watch the Super Bowl without fear of being harassed. The attitudes in this thread do not allow for those things to happen.

OakWood: I have been friends with some of these "evil" Muslims since we fought Sadam together in the early 90s. They have yet to turn on me or the country. Many went on to 20 to 30 year careers serving our country. Despite your fears, I am really not worried about them killing me in my sleep.

Justin: I would suggest you lay off the kool-aid form Fox News for a while, it is making into a paranoid conspiracy theorist. I would be willing to bet the Muslims I know have done more in service for this country than you have. How many years did you spend in the military? How many months did you spend in country keeping your fellow service members safe? Tell me how Kareem Kahn was set on destroying this country? You like to accuse me of bashing the country while you do far worse to these who have served it faithfully, so you could sit at your computer and spit in them.

Justin: We could start with the millions of Muslims in this country. Also, Jesus said we are to go out to the whole world, not just the fun parts of it. We in this country are lazy Christians. I would say that spending months in a forward air control center with people from all branches of the military, many of which were Muslims, gives one a different perspective on them. Living in the same tents, eating and sleeping and showering and working 18 hour days with them gives a different perspective than one gets from Fox News. Many of these people saved more lives than the sniper everyone is so high on, yet they are lumped in as killers.

Oakwood: I am not speaking of the theology being the same. I am speaking of the parts you mentioned about not reading their holy book or knowing what their religion is all about. How many Christians do you suppose read their bible daily instead of just taking their pastor's or someone's word for what is in it?

Maybe the Muslims I know or have known personally were just bad Muslims because they are nothing like your view of all Muslims.

This is the same state department that told me Iraq had an active WMD program and that North Korea getting a nuke would be the end of the world as we know it, so I take it all with a large grain of salt To answer your question, I do not think the US is a terrorist state as I know first hand the lengths we go to to avoid innocent death, even at the cost of our own service members. I largely disagree with most of our foreign policy and think you would have a hard time finding a more aggressive country over the last few decades

Do you even know the metrics that the SD and CIA use to determine the " largest sponsor of terrorist"? What is your general trust level of the SD and the CIA? Do you trust them in Bengazi? Or when they tell you that AQ is on the run or that all is peachy in Yemen? As for what the rest of the world thinks? Do you take their views of the US to heart or just their view of Iran? Do a google search on " largest terrorist state" and see what much of the world thinks it is, I will give you a hint it starts with an U and ends with A and has an S in the middle.
