You get the anointing to minister from God. And I agree, we all minister to each other anyway. Seek God on his will for your life. Forget about human credentials. They aren't worth much anyway. Anyone can go out and study to be a minister, doesn't mean that's what they should do.

I don't live in the US, so I can't help with specifics in denominations, but I can share with you. I believe in seeking God to place you in the right church for your purpose. I have always sort God on where to fellowship and it is very rewarding. Ask in prayer, and wait for God to lead you. He has amazing ways of connecting you to people and places. One time before we had even moved to a new city, when we didn't know where we were going to move to a person my husband met got a word to give us the name and number of pastors to connect with. Later we found out that was where we were moving to. We went to their church and my service there is still connecting me today. Trust in God, he can lead you. The problem I've always found is that everyone will try to tell you their church is where it's at but trust in God. He'll show you the way. Bless you.

Fasting is not something I am not keen on myself but as I read the thread I can't get it out of my head. Remember the demon that only came out with fasting and prayer? That is all. I have prayed for you brother. Great scriptures on here. Bless you.

Yes, there are some in the ministry I have come across who should have been disqualified - like living in adultery. Agree 100%.

That is the same conclusion I came to after much study. I grew up in a religion that kept Saturday Sabbath so I had a lot of learning to do. These posts have encouraged me. Thank you to all who contributed.

I agree with the sentiment here. If your going to post something like that there's going to be haters out there. Don't fret, stay strong in the Lord!

We are all only righteous by the blood of the lamb. Is there any of us without sin? No preacher is perfect, no person perfect, so if you had to be perfect to preach nobody would be available for the job!
