The great sacrice doesn't lie within the torture but that it was GOD'S only SON.Would you let your only child die for millions?The point is that JESUS didnt have to die for you and me but HE chose death because it was HIS FATHER'S will.HE chose to die because of HIS love for fallen man.

Maybe they are here because GOD brought them to us to be a light to them.To share the love of CHRIST with them.Are we to turn away the lost?What purpose would that serve if we turned away those that are lost?It wouldnt be what JESUS would want us to do.HE came to seek and save those that are lost.We too need to seek those that are lost.

We dont celebrate helloween at my house but I do like Luke's idea of giving out stuff from the Christian bookstore.One verse pops into my head...He that knoweth to do good and doeth it not ,to him it's a sin.Once we know the truth about certain things(helloween)we can no longer be ignorant of the matter.

Raven,I listen to all types of gospel music(Southern,Contemp,Rock,ect.).I do like to listen to some secular music,only if it contains a positive message.I grew up in the 80's so I still listen to some of that stuff too .

Good question.I feel it represents Mary because its says that the dragon was ready to devour the man child that she was about to give birth to.We know what King Herod tried to do at the birth of JESUS.Rev.12:5 says that the woman brought forth a man child who was to rule the nations with a rod of iron.

No not another thread about losing salvation!The WORD of GOD says we are new creatures once we are saved.If you have made a confession of faith and is still living out the same lifestyle as before you was saved then you have a problem.My question is this....if one can lose true salvation when they sin..why is CHRIST sitting at the right hand of the FATHER making intercession for us?Cant you ask for forgiveness when you sin?Or do we ask HIM to come down and die all over again because we didnt trust HIM the first time?So if one can lose salvation then one must believe once lost always lost right?Does satan have greater powers than our GOD?Can satan pull us from HIS hands?I do feel like most have a head knowledge of JESUS and not a heart knowledge of HIM.This would indeed bring a false indication of salvation.I know that when I mess up in this life I am forgiven when I ask HIM.I have seen actions of so-called Christians and wonder to myself about their salvation but I dont know their hearts .Maybe sometimes we need to stop and question ourselves before we question others.Be blessed.

Like I said before ...what man don't understand ..they call it a contradition.The problem lies within our studying of the WORD.Most study the surface and keep it simple while some go below the surface for the hard facts.I've never studied Greek or ancient Hebrew like some have.Those that have done an exstinsive study will find a deeper understanding of scripture.For instance the meaning of certain words or studying the back ground of ancient Jewish traditions.The problem isn't in the WORD of GOD..the problem is with us!

With all due respect Lude,who has told the Muslim people the Bible is corrupted?Was this an attempt to keep them away from learning the truth?What about the Holy scriptures from which we get our translated Bible?Are they considered corrupted too?Lude,you may want to look at a Bible and make that decision yourself.JESUS said for us to love our neighbors as ourselves.We don't hate anyone.JESUS taught love.Lude,why dont Muslims have a personal relationship with Allah?Does Allah teach Muslims to love?Can he be called your father?Does he have a fatherly love for his people?or are Muslims forced to love him through fear?

The Holy Word of GOD has no contradictions!What we don't understand about the Bible we tend to call a contradiction.All these so-called"contradictions"can be explained.Man is always trying to bring GOD down to his way of thinking.GOD's ways aren't man's ways!The Bible says that GOD isn't the author of confusion.

Remember the news brought by the angels at the birth of JESUS......Peace on Earth!Someday there will be peace.The swords will be beaten into plowshares(Isaiah 2:4).

I didnt think Luther believed in the Eucharist(the act which Catholics partake in eating the bread and wine that,to them,becomes the actual body and blood of CHRIST)?This was one point that he broke away from traditons of the Catholic church.
