  1. I wonder if that school will also cover the creeds of the other 33,000 religions and denominations in the world as part of their history lessons? Or was isLam just lucky in the draw? I went to grade school longgggg ago. I remember learning about mohammed back then. But it was just "mohammed started islam" kind of brief thing in world history. We never learned the tenets or anything like that. But for them to teach things about islam while banning Christianity in the school is outrageous. Ban it all or let it all be taught. No in between. Yeah.. Kinda sad when that happens. In Malaysia schools, Islamic studies are one of the subjects for Muslims, while non Muslims go for morale studies. Although there maybe.. Maybe Sunday schools or bible knowledge studies, they are only offered in certain selected schools, namely schools started by missionaries long time back. But even now, many of these schools are taken over by the government, and crosses are brought down from the schools. I will name you one. Assunta school in Petaling Jaya. Try googling. Lol
  2. Well Mam? I'm 55 years old and have met alot of women. I haven't found many like that. Maybe a handful. So like I said... Good on ya. Your husband is blessed because of you.. Well.... Thank you...
  3. Hahahh..nahhh.. I was just brought up in such a culture. There are many like me .. I m sure... I'm just very possessive lol over my husband .... Hahhah. Oopsss...
  4. Good on ya. You're the rarity this day and time.

  6. Oh, Matthew was responding to the context of the article. But... I have buts...lol. Islamization agenda is real. Happens here all the time... Implicitly. So it will in the west. Nevertheless, rather than just rejecting the lesson.. What are we doing to to shield ourselves and the younger generation of Christians so that their faith is Strong. And how united are we as the body of Christ? Not talking about church. About the body of Christ, generally.
  7. No pecking either for me, or even hugging, holding hands for the matter. Look for your own husband, woman! (Of the article) lolzz.. Hahaha...
  8. This news is half truth. I live in Malaysia. I learnt Islamic studies. I never converted. Neither merely reciting the shahadah without conviction would not make u a Muslim.
  9. Hahaha.. It depends... Me being an Asian.. It is not our custom to be simply kissing people..single or married. At least in public. Well what's more as a Christian? I mean I'm not all that angelic lol.. But I can understand if couples in love kissing. But random strangers and moreover.. Married people kissing other people..its kinda hard to digest. Of coz I understand that it is probably tradition and it is done out of fun. But still... What is the message sent over there. And to top it up, she was seeking for the man.. Not knowing he is married... i mean thank God it ended there. And his wife took it humorously. Other woman like me, I don't think so the situation would be the same. Lol.. But then again it depends on situation, if she kisses my husband without warning, the I would understand. If my husband did not have the chance to say no. But knowingly the consent is given, I don't think so. Let's turn the story around. If a man, married or not would kiss me and being married, I give in... Now what would u call that? I don't think my husband would laugh it out. Especially when pics of me kissing another guy goes everywhere, in addition to the media who would sensationalize the whole thing lol. Sorry I know am old fashioned when it comes to this.
  10. I would have kissed my husband goodbye after that lol
  11. Oh dear some of your experience are so sad. Its gross that some pastors destroy n devour his flock rather than be Christ-like. I had a tiny experience where a new pastor cynically laughed at another pastor many years ago. I had reservations over him then. Anyway, I have recently got a church after some time. Since I x have any christian friends from where I live, I always long to be together with the body of Christ.
  12. Yup metavow...so there you go...Answers from some of us whom you could learn from.
  13. I could probably relate to your circumstance as I'm married to an unbeliever. Although my husband is a wonderful man, when it comes to spiritual matters both of us cannot be in one mind or perspective with regards to God. In my case, I was a Hindu but after doing much seeking I accepted Christ sometime in year 2002/2003.. Can't remember. Nevertheless I got married to my bf who is now my husband. (Unfortunately, christian guys failed me) but that's besides the topic. I would advice you to not be equally yoked with someone who is not in one mind And spirit with you. Everything would feel nice and spice when you're dating but once you come together in marriage, that's where the deal starts. I myself have backslided many times due to circumstances and my own disobedience of not waiting on the Lord. And please do not ever ever give in to doing something that is clearly a sin. If there isn't any way, then the best is to breakup than be consumed by fire. At the end, if both of you are meant for each other, it will take place.
